i dont want to sound stupid or anything but i been watching masss effect and i know its going to have excellent gameplay but will mass effect be for xbox live as well?
I love how everything needs online nowadays, even though most of the time it's half assed. As far as I know Mass Effect will not have multiplayer, and I think that is a smart move. They can spend more time perfecting the single player mode (the focus of the game). Besides I think multiplayer for a game like Mass Effect would feel out of place and tacky.
I have always thought that a RPG with Multiplayer would be kinda cool Like if you needed Help on a Mission or something! I don't understand how that could be tacky?

I agree. It's a @#$ing huge game and it's an RPG. WHY WOULD IT NEED MULTIPLAYER? How would that even work. I know it's ALSO a tactical shooter, but c'mon, lets be reasonable here

Um, the TC didn't say anything about the game needing online, he just asked if it did or did not have it.

I don't think that he was specifically scolding the TC, but just generally speaking that online play has now become expected from most games, even handhelds.
