Hi, I completed Mass Effect ages ago and i'm looking to give it another run through before no.2 come out, but I have a problem. I heard that you can use your same character from the first playthrough, however when I go to start a new game I get no option of playing with that character again. All my saved games are intact and I have the achievement for completing the game etc... I'd really rather not have to start from scratch (levels and all) so any help is much appreciated! Thanks
You haven't upgraded your hard drive since then right? I recently upgraded to a 120GB and didn't notice that I couldn't get my new playthrough to level up past 50 until it was too late because even though I still had the achievements the old save data had not transferred.
you might have to download the license for the game again. The same thing happened to me when i upgraded my harddrive to the 120 the tried to play too human.
