I believe MS said the games they produced would be 49.99 from now on. Let me see if I can find a linkgp19I don't know why these companies keep making statements like this. All three of them set lower prices for their first party games last gen, but when a truly AAA game came out, they would ignore the rules. Examples of this include (Microsoft: "Games go platnium whenever they reach a certain sell point," but neither Halo or Halo 2 dropped their prices for years. Sony: "First party games will sell for $39.99," but God of War 1 and 2, and some of the SOCOMs sold for $50. Nintendo: Refused to drop prices at any time.

They said that when they launched the 360 and that is now known to be falshe. How do i know? Look at Halo 3s price.
There's something there: http://www.joystiq.com/2005/08/24/microsoft-first-party-xbox-360-games-to-retail-for-49-99/ ... wait still looking.gp19
Yeah first party games are supposed to.... Aslong.... As it's nothing... Uhh... That people are going to buy regardless... Perfect Dark Zero, Viva Pinatta, Kameo, Project Gotham Racing, were all $49.99 for their regular editions...
Halo 3 is probably because they are gay and figure people will buy it no matter what the price is....
Look at the legendary edition priced at $130.

Yes... $10 doesn't seem like that much... Unless your talking about buying a lot of games overtime... It builds up... And when you have a job, and have to pay for yourself, and life by yourself... Every single cent can be used for something... So yes, $10 can add up, and can be a lot initially.
I could care less if it was $50 or $60. $10 won't make me buy or not buy a game.Airsoft595
It won't really stop me from buying or not buying a game...
But people that say that don't care at all are a little weird if you ask me...
Why wouldn't it matter if you save money or not?
If it's $50, sure... $10 may not seem a lot... But would you rather pay $50 for a game, o $60... Sure, I am going to get it myself no matter how much it is... But still, I can tell you that I would rather pay less then more any day.
