it is hard to decide between them because they both look like AAA titles but mass effect has the edge because of the controls. the controls in assassins creed will probably take some getting used to.

Zelda where my favorite games of all time! To bad i hate the Wii cause i really wanna play the new ones :(... the remote just sucks... and prince of presia where cool but werent that great because of the zombies and some other stuff but they were nice!
Mass Effect seems to give you more for your money. It's a Bioware RPG afterall. With that comes replayabilty, deep characters, an in depth storyline and possibly multiple endings.
Mass Effect has been the number 1 game I have been looking forward to all year. I would trade Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, CoD4, and GTA4 just for Mass Effect.

As far as the clothing goes, different time frames bring about different styles. Altair is pretty rugged for being a lone wolf assassin. Shepherd is more of a spoiled goody who has partners to do his dirty work for him.

Must we choose? Both promise to deliver innovative, true-next-gen gameplay. However, the level of customization and open-worldness (open galaxy-ness?) has mean leaning toward Mass Effect. I will pick up both eventually, though I'll probably get ME at release and AC for Christmas.
i wanna say both, but i'm in a position where i can afford to get only 2 november titles, and call of duty 4 is definitely one of them, so i was forced to choose the 2nd between these 2 games, and i chose assassin's creed.
Mass Effect will give you more for your money with the diff character experiences and different endings you can obtain. I will definitely be buynig both - both are cant miss titles. Mass effect will be an overall more satisfying experience just based on length - contant - story - character interaction - combat, IT HAS IT ALL
But if I had to pick between one or the other that honestly would be really tough. Because they are both great games! But, if that came down to that than it would be Assassins Creed.
