i dont know your taste , if you like wrpgs like oblivion and good story get it , if you want something light and fun and nnot deep get guitar hero , i recommend both tho
all i can say is if you love the story of the game, detail, visuals, and SPACE! then go for MASS EFFECT! i would best game i have ever played in terms of story so far and wanting to find out what happens
get GH3 if you like guitars, music, dont like stories much and like getting into the action from the start!
Guitar Hero is a great game and fun to play online. i cant really compare to mass effect becuase i dont have it but i think it would be hard to compare anyways becuase they are two differnt types of games. I love guitar and i never get tired of it becuase of all the downloadable content on it. But then again i dont have mass effect so.
Mass Effect would probally be the more bang for your buck thing but I do still enjoy Guitar Hero after awhile. Mass Effect features a nice combat system for an RPG, It plays sorta like a third person shooter. The Story Mass Effect is pretty good and memorable. It features some good replayability. I like how the Achievements link in as in game rewards that will help you make more complex characters and the game easier (or harder) for you. While guitar hero has a list of songs which are pretty fun to play and online is a test of speed and precision (But sometimes I have trouble hooking up to matches for some reason).They are still throwing out track packs 500 MPs each (with 3 songs) from bands like Muse, Motorhead and others. I'd review them more and consider pricing with content.
