Mass Effect or The Orange Box?

I am trying to decide between these two games. At the moment I'm leaning towards Mass Effect because I'm a bit tired of shooters(Halo 3, CoD4), but I could go either way. I was wondering everyone's opinions and looking for suggestions. ThanksBrettheman12

well both are in my top 10 games of all time but mass effect can be short (think 25 hours) but the orange box is at least 25 hours or more for half life 2 and its expansions and when you add portal which is an amazing game and team fortress 2 which i have to say is my favorite online shooter ever i would say go with orange box! and btw half life 2 has an amazing story to it also and portal is very funny

Why do so many people on the internet want others to make decisions for them? (or at least help them make a decision)

If you're leaning towards Mass Effect and tired of first person shooters, then get Mass Effect!!!!!

Both are worth buying get mass effect right now and OB later.
