Before i start i'm just saying i know there are other threads about this please do not move or lock this one please, this is just a recap on problems. Thank you.

Okay, so i want to start playing mass effect again as i have the urge, but when i got it last christmas i managed to complete it although my xbox sometimes came up with "please insert this disc into an xbox 360 console". But i still completed the game and then never played it again, but since that moment where the xbox could'nt recognise the disc or w.e. my xbox then very slowly but shorely started saying that to my other games. Then when GTA 4 came out thats when my xbox took 5-10 goes to read any disc. 3 weeks ago i got RRoD sent it off got it back and they replaced my DVD drive and motherboard. So i now want to play mass effect again but i do not know whether i should as it could cause this eruption of problems to happen again as i have read other stories like my situation and i like my xbox .

So before i consider to start it again, can any one shed some light to whether or not it's possible to re-occure. Considering i have the newest DVD drive.

Thanks.

Its highly unlikely that this problem was caused by the Mass Effect disk, especially if the same problem was happening with other games.

It sounds purely like a drive problem, and if they've fixed that there shouldn't be any problem playing Mass Effect again.

I guarantee you that the Mass Effect disc had nothing to do with your problems. You could have put any disc in and your drive would have failed. It's just a coincidence.

The only way a disc can damage your 360 is if it is already cracked and it shatters when it's spinning in the drive. This is clearly not your problem.
