so, im trying to get the 'hard playthrough' achievement reusing my old character. how do i make sure the game is on hard when im playing? i started a new file last night but it just jumped right into the game without asking me for difficulty
I believe you have to create another character in order to get the achivement. I don't really see the point in making us play a harder difficulty with a character at max level. I say just make a new character, then they ask you what difficulty you want before you start playing.
If you change the difficulty before the end of Eden Prime, you can get the achievement. I don't know anything about having to create a new character to get it though.
What I do is I change the difficulty on the title screen, make the new game with my existing character, change the difficulty once I make the new game, then play normally. I'm 100% sure that works. I have both the difficulty achievements.
alright, thanks. i didnt know that you could change it BEFORE loading on the title screen. ill try it, and in about 20 or so hours, ill let you know what happens haha
