i shared my laughter of his post with you!
anyway, ME is a great game (some people hate it), Oblivion is OoooK i guess (some people love it). I just found Oblivion lacking. Guess i was spoiled by Morrowind.
--i'm retarded-- Fallout 3, as mentioned should prolly knock them both down.
Oblivion vs Mass Effect? its not fair, Mass Effect vs Vanilla ice cream, thats better, i'll still pick the ice cream...
Oblivion is so much better than ME that its not even funny, i've played Oblivion for 270 hours(literally) with 2 characters, and im still not bored, it was my first 360 game back in july 2006.

how do you know he wasnt laughing at the other guy? just curious.
yeah but oblivion is boring to me because thereis not really enough going on at once. i prefer playing in a universe with a sense of conflict.Oblivion vs Mass Effect? its not fair, Mass Effect vs Vanilla ice cream, thats better, i'll still pick the ice cream...

and that conflict isnt as present as it is in oblivion. the only place you see the main conflict take place is during trips through daedric portals.
I loved Mass effect and hated Oblivion, not because fanboyism, I just couldnt get into Oblivion

It really depends on what type of environment you like (space or medieval).
Personally I have always liked Oblivion because you can almost never get bored from the diversity of characters and guilds and quests.
I have never played Mass Effect, but hope to soon. It sort of seems like a Knights of the Old Republic, but more updated and a different story line.
