Yeah, maybe the ship crash lands on a covenant home world or something, and then Master Chief goes to wreak havoc. Would be an awesome game
It would be awesome if Bungie make a game where you can play from a Covenant hero's point of view.

He was a "Covenant Hero," in the sense I think GodofGore means. I think what he is saying is to play a game as a Covenant (probably elite) and fight humans, command huge armies of grunts and other elites, hunters, etc. Fight the fight against the humans, before the Arbiter came about and the Covenant split.
Agreed lol. Besides, seeing as how this is Bungie's last Halo title, M$ will make a Halo 4 where we see Chief again. This is just a theory, but it's probably gonna happen. :P
Thel 'Vadam aka Arbiter wasn't really a Covenant hero. He was a Covenant Separastist. A Covenant hero would be more like the Arbiter in Halo Wars akaRipa 'Moramee.

Hmm, I thought I read somewhere that Bungie wasn't going to work on Halo anymore and that somebody else would take over. Oh well, I don't care as long as the series doesn't die.
343 Studios will be in charge of future Halo projects. If I'm not mistaken, they do have some former Bungie employees on the staff so hopefully they don't mess up too much.

the wild theory goes is that the master cheif crash lands on the planet taht involves bungies earlier work "marathon", and this marks as marathon sequel/remake of sorts tying it all together.
great question TC. I think the game will be centered around Cortana and Master Chief being stranded on a planet on an island infested with zombies. There goal is to create a space ship out of the islands resources to get off the planet but Gilligan always foils there plans.
