After wasting all my cell minutes between microsoft and airlink. Im still where i started.

Here's the scenerio....

I had a linksys b router which my 360 hooked up to just fine. Only thing was i could not watch videos due to the weak signal. Finally get some extra cash and go buy an airlink mimo g router. I get it all hooked up and connected to live fine. Perfect. On to connecting with the pc...... I CAN connect to Vidoes, Music and Photos through the dashboard but CANNOT connected to media center. I get errors saying im not on the same network, Its timed out, My computers not on, Pc cannot be located..etc you name it ive seen it. Heres the kicker. It will connect about 2 out of 10 times with the media center. Randomly connects and randomly wont. ..... Ive uninstalled the extender multible times and reinstalled it. Rebooted both systems multiple times. Turned on and off firewall. Opened the ports on my router. Created a new user on the computer and tried to hook up with that, it was a no go with media center but a go with the Music,Photos and Videos tab. Another problem now is i deleted the new user i created but my 360 still shows 2 computer ids. My real one and the test.

Anybody know whats going on with it? Is there a way to erase the computer from the xbox and start all over? Go back to default settings for the whole xbox without reformatting the harddrive?

Btw Its flashed but this was never a problem.

I am not familiar with windows media center, so I am not the best person to give advice, but did you try using a different program? Such as Winamp Shoutcast. It is a free program that you can use that does connect with the 360. I use shoutcast myself. If that doesnt work than atleast you verified that it was a hardware/network prob and not a software prob.

The whole reason im using Media Center is because im streaming Netflix with it. (Which btw rules when it works, if you havent tried it already.)

So far its been 2 days of hell and yeah running vista. The accounts admin and my computer streams fine. Just the xbox wont hook up about 80% of the time. If anyones knows about this it would be a hugehelp and relief. Thanks
