So you're not into the whole Mega Man, Bionic Commando, Feeding Frenzy, Castle Crashers kind of games?
No I didn't fork out for a HD Tv for someting that could run through a NES. However Geo wars 2, E4 are ace.
yeah you tell those Capcom devs, what were they thinking not making megaman have mo-capped animations and realistic shadows? it's almost like they're intentionally making the game look like crap! silly devs, HD is the future.
Id like to assume it would only be 400 points. But then again I think its been awhile since the arcade came out with any 400 point games worth it :s. Seems like everything in the arcade nowadays is somewhere between 800-1200 points unfortunatly.
I already got it, for Wii, and I just love it, music, graphics, control, everything is almost as good as in the first four games. It's not as good as Megaman 3 in my opinion, but still is a blast to play a "new" chapter in the series.
I guess I'll get it for 360 too, but the d-pad worries me a bit, unfortunately after playing Bionic Commando I know what to expect from that little circle-shaped thing.

The game is 800 points. Or $10, the same as it is on the Wii and on the PS3. I don't know why people are surprised by 800-1200 point games, they always said games would cost 400-1200 points.
I just had a go on the trial, it seems fun. However, the lack of checkpoints means when you die thats it, you go straight back to the start of the level. Maybe if it was 400 points I would have gotten it but the checkpoints is an issue, I know its ment to be retro but this is something that would have added to my collection but as it stands I am undecided.
I want to get it because of the retro thing, but I never liked Mega Man as a kid. My friends did but I thought it was crappy compared to Mario and Duck Hunt.
I picked it up and so far it is what I had hoped for. I'm not sure it's going to win over any critics or non-Mega Man fans, but for fans of the series it delivers. It's also ballbustingly hard, even by old school standards. It's the same thing every time so it gets easier with each attempt, but the first few attempts are vicious.

Unnecessary remark. Good luck in a month when your deleting a re-dl'ing all of your games to make room(If you aren't already). Which is why I got it on PS3. I may even get it again on 360 for achievements.

Most NES roms are like less than a meg though. I doubt he'll need to redownload and even if he did it'd take like 10 seconds on DSL.

The game does have checkpoints. One at the mid point of a level and one before the boss. Every level has two checkpoints.
honestly I started out using the d pad because I wanted it to feel like the originals, but then without even noticing it I would keep switching to the analog it feels more comfortable.
