Memory Unit and Rockband.: or a question for my GS peers

hey all,

I am about to go to visit a friend this weekend and he finally just purchased a 360, (you know the story got to talk your wife into first....trick them with a few family games, then instead of viva pinata, buy halo, cod, and goW)

Anyway he really wants to play rockband, so since I got a new Memory unit (64) during the TRu madness sale, I was thinking of taking my save game over there.

I have unlocked every track, plus I have a few DLC that I want to take as well.

So my question is, what do I need to copy to the Memory unit?? I figure my gamertag, and the rockband save file?

Then once I get to his house how do I copy that info over so that we can play using his gamertag and mine, as well as the DLC???

If you have a hard drive you could just bring that over. I guess you don't have an hdd, you can take your GT and game saves, but not your down loaded song.gagit811

BTW, I do have a hdd, it just my wife still has her gamertag and stuff on it, and she will want to play uno and viva pinata while I am gone, so I really dont want to take that away from her.

For the TC: Put your wife's stuff on the memory card and you take the HDD, you probably won't be able to fit all the DLC onto a mem.card Then once your at his place I'd just either recover his GT, or maybe he has a memory card?

I don't think that you can redownload something by just having a GT, I'd imagine they keep track of either the IP it's on or maybe even a consoles number. Otherwise there'd be a whole piracy flaw where people would just trade GT's to play arcade games and to get other DLC things.

No I understand what you're saying BUT what I'm saying is that if they made it so you can just redownload with a GT people would share one GT, download what they want and then transfer it onto a memory unit. The songs do work if you're not online as do some XBLA games, I can personally confirm this since sometimes I don't go onto Live
