right? I bought the first one a while back and i really enjoyed it. The whole concept for being a merc and blowing everything and anything up. All the missions were really fun even though they were similar and the ace battles were extremely challenging but amazingly fun. took me like a year to beat. But quite frankly, Mercs 1 seemed half assed in a lot of areas because the xbox1 couldnt allow the developers to do what they wanted to do. MERCs2 however, looks AMAZING. The draw distance is crazy. The destruction is more realistic and crazy. The guns sound a lot better, everything sounds better. I like the whole revenge concept. The graphics are spectacular.. I mean i was looking forward to GTA 4 and im still gonna get that as well, but im PUMPED for Mercs 2 it looks like the best game coming out for the rest of the year. Thoughts?
AND Mercs1 was in North Korea and seemed really gloomy and dark. Now its in the jungle somewhere looks spectacular. Am i the only one thats gonna be buying this game?
The first one was freaking brilliant and the second looks even better. However, it doesn't look on par with other games coming out this generation and I fear that it may disappoint.

why? Mercs 2 is all about destruction and the video i just watched had some of the best visual effects for the airstrikes that ive ever seen. ANd they said there are hundreds of vehicles and hundreds of new weapons and airstrikes. Looks amazing. The only thing i think will dissapoint about this game is that the mission structure isnt the same. Like there arent the 4 factions to accept different missions from. SO if u get stuck, u might not be able to try something else before coming back to it. AND idk if there sthe whole deck of 52 thing. It was hella fun hinting down all the cards, idk if they'll have that again but they will probably have a variation of it. Like killing all ur enemies main men. I cant wait

The new trailer renewed my faith in this oft-delayed project. I am pumped and cannot wait for... whenever this game comes out. I really hope the delay has been to fix the code enough so that two players can hop in the same game without needing to be within X-hundred yards of each other.
If they stick to the roots of the first one and improve on that in Mercenaries 2, it should be absolutely amazing. I just remember blowing building down and flying helicopters around picking up cars with it and dropping them from high distances watching the explode. The first game was just as addicting as GTA is, so I can't wait for Mercs 2 to come out!!
