Messenger Kit Compatibility Quick Question (GTA4)

is the messenger keypad compatible with every game that requires text to be entered?

specifically with the computers in gta4 and the police scanner?

It doesn't work with a lot of in-game text things. I tried it on LOST and did not work and I think it is only for the guide.Thorpe89
