Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Reading over new and past comments here in this article Metal Gear Solid: Rising resurfaces, nobody has been paying any attention the past 2 years have they?

Here's a small history lesson to keep you up to date:
1. Back in 2009-2010 Kojima released a teaser trailer for a game called Metal Gear Solid: Rising, with the tag line Lightning Bolt Action, replacing Tactical Espionage Action.

2. This game follows Raiden, big shocker there, in his story set between Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4, this game will flesh out what happened to him in between these games and how he became a cyborg soldier.

3. The title has, now pay attention here, the title has been changed "from" Metal Gear Soild: Rising, to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Now notice how Solid has been removed from the title, the reason being is that Solid Snake/Old Snake will not be in this game as a main character.

4. Lightning Bolt Action defines the core gameplay, lightning fast reflexes and moves being pulled off rather than stealth as the series is known for, if this were a stealth game it would have kept the tagline Tactical Espionage Action, but it didn't.

So remember this is not a stealth oriented game, if you can't get over that then don't bother picking up this game if and when it is released.

Don't like it? Don't buy it, but don't ever dare call yourself a Kojima fan if you doubt his actions now.

I would like to stress that I am not trying to be a whiteknight, but people don't like to listen more than half the time to other people, I just hope this clears up any misconceptions people have about the game it's self.

Now Wikipedia places this game as taking place after Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, this hasn't been proven yet as the new trailer still only followed Raiden and didn't reveal much more beyond another Metal Gear, what looked to be a Ray model, and another cybernetic soldier, so please disregard Wikipedia's information with prejudice.

Since I cannot edit my original post, this game does indeed take place after Metal Gear Solid 4, please disregard point #2 as that information is incorrect, I apologize.

The old Metal Gear Solid Rising was cancelled due to lack of direction. They had that precision cutting mechanic with the gameplay.. and that was all. The title was then handed over to Platinum Games and we see the awesomeness that it is now.

It looks a thousand times better than the original tech demo. It was my personal game of the show, I've decided I liked its trailer more than the Diablo 3 CGI trailer.

Can't wait to cut some fools up as Raiden.

I have to admit the first trailer that shows Raiden with the 'sword mechanics' looks very interesting. But with this new trailer my hype got a little bit lost, but I'm waiting for it to come out.

The trailers i've watched on YT are just awesome!
