As for why it might happen? Well, why not? It happened with MGS2, why not MGS4. Konami is a third-party developer, and these days it's all about the money. And money is something that MS has no shortage of.

i'm not too sure about that, if MS pays a huge sum of money and Kojima turns it down...konami would probably fire him lol you gotta look at this at a business point of view. if a company of a platform paid you what would have to be millions to have your product on their platform, wouldn't you accept. or better yet, if that decision was up to someone else and they turned it down, how upset would you be? (that's just asking anyone im not trying to single you out grafkhun :P)

Even if MGS4 goes 2 the xbox360 i wouldnt care much its not that good of a game. Online is weak but i wont lie the story is really good.

And why is that? They would have to dumb it down? How so? They would just have to change the code around for the 360. I don't know if you have seen the games on 360 but they are on par with PS3.

And on the topic, take a look at MGS3...did it ever show up on xbox? No.

Kojima stated that he hated porting MGS2 to the xbox, and said he wouldn't do it again. Konami is the publisher, but you'd better believe Kojima owns every amount of that franchise and will have the final say.

He sounds like he's ready to move on. He dedicated years of his life to perfecting MGS4, designing it for the PS3's hardware.

Just pick up a PS3 at some point, maybe years from now, in order to play it. It'll definitely be worth it.

I'd be happy if it arrived on the 360 too, but Konami is just looking into it.

I think it's great that exclusive third party games are being multi-platform. It forces first party developers to make more games of higher quality which will benefit your console.

this would be a total failure.. that game is getting kinda old now and besides MGS4 didn't really make it to a spectacular title like a game like resistance or anything like that, and being how it came out on the ps3 I doubt it would be as big as a success, but who cares.. do you see a release date, or a 100% confirmation... NOPE so don't get your hopes up

i love MGS I've been a fan ever since MGS 1 sad thing is that i have a 360:cry:, so im gonna find as much dirt as i can about it being ported to the 360, and i also forgot to mention, didn't MGS4 sell lower than konami expected? that thought makes me happy because it makes the multiplat rumour feel true.

Its a great game, but it has changed quite a bit for this outing. The cut scenes have been dragged out to levels I didn't think posible (and this from a MGS fan!) and the game play has changed somewhat.

Its barely a stealth game anymore - the first part of the game is, but later on, its pretty much becomes an action/adventure title. This is still great, and like I said, great game, but I would have prefered more MGS gameplay.
