I am planning on buying an x-box 360 soon. But I had a ps2 so I am a huge fan of the metal gear solid series. So I am wondering. Would the new MGS be possible on 360. MGS 2 and 3 were re-released on the x-box. So it seems like a natural progression. I just want to know if it is possible to put the game on the system. So if anyone knows anything at all, ANYTHING. I doubt it would ever come to the xbox 360, your question is kind of like a ps3 owner saying will halo 3 come to the ps3. Im sure Sony got exclusive rights to the game with Konami, so if konami wanted to put it on the xbox that would breach their contract with sony.

Well of course it's POSSIBLE. Just not very likely. The game has well and truly had enough success on the PS3

not to nitpick but MGS 3 wasnt released on the Xbox. but im sure its technically possible for MGS4 to come to 360.
Yeah, its possible but it will be on more than one disk mainly because of the amazing number of cutscenes. But it won't happen because sony won't allow it.

technically its possibe, yeah the game have amazing graphics and all the fanboys saying wth the 360 cant run it. its crap, there a lot of multiplat games now that have great graphics. but the problem is the space of the 360 format, im just guessing so dont kill me for this since idk the exact capacity of the format, but it would be like 2 max 3 discs. another problem is the contract that sony and kojima/konami have. yeah MGS2 was released in the xbox, but about MGS3 idk why it wasnt in the xbox.
but for me the major reasen besides the tech and the capacity would be the rights sony have for MGS4, its like porting halo or gears to the ps3, that IN MY OPINION, and sadly for me, it will never happen.
It can probably be done in multiple discs but it defeats the reason for console exclusives. If you really want to play MGS4 its simple... get a PS3.

i own a 360, and i dont really see any reasons to get a PS3 other then MGS4. i already beat the game at my friend's house so im all set :D but i think the 360 is a more fun console. other then the fact that microsoft charges for EVERYTHING with those darn Microsoft Points. its prety good :D
No, it's not like that Mike Uk. Halo 1 or 2 never went to the PS2 from xbox, but MGS2 and Snake Eater did eventually get ported from the PS2 to the xbox. Hence, it's a legit question. I think it will based simply on the fact that it would sell big-time on the 360 and that's the bottom line.
My advice? buy a PS3, play MGS4 and then sell 'em, nothing else is looking good for the PS3, tho i must admit that the 360 doesn't have a great line of games coming up either, and ever since the "new" xbox experience was released, i lost all my faith in MS, the avatars still give me nightmares.
Overall, all the consoles start going downhill after the first 2 years, PC however, will live forever, long life to World of Warcraft and games with REAL graphics!
The game is amazing and addicting, but unfortunately it's highly unlikely it will be on the 360. But hey you will never know **** happens all the time. I mean if you rly want mgs get a ps3. 360 is better in my opinion but ps3 is still fun.
