This has to be beyond embarassing on Microsoft's part...
I'm glad that everyone in the world can finally see Microsoft for what they truly are. They squeeze every penny to offer the consumer the cheapest parts available as well as the worst Customer Service in known history so they can run off with all the money.
[QUOTE="lil_d_mack_314"]lol talk about embarrassingfallendamnationYeah i know they should have solved this problem by now
i guess its kinda reassuring that even trillionares have the same problems us averages joes do:P

Blah blah blah....every corporation is out to make money. You probably cannot name a single one who is in business for the betterment of the consumer.

Yeah, no kidding. I've said basically the exact same thing before. People get mad that their 360 goes out, that's fine. People are upset that Microsoft "betrayed" them or something like that, try to be less naïve.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened to MS. A few years back, it could have been the unveiling of Windows XP, I can't remember; Bill himself was on stage giving a key note on it and showing off some of its features when they got a big Blue Screen of Death projected on the screen in front of the entire audience and press. That would have been much more embarrassing than the dead Xbox.msjr78you are correct it did happen. funny though imo.

I remember that, it was hillarious

They are all out to make money, but at least the others give us consoles that work most of the time. I've never had another console break except my 360 which did 3 times. I love the games on the 360, but it's so hard to play them when over a month of your consoles life it was in a repair shop. If they had never had this issue I would never have complained about the 360, but this breaking down has killed it for me. Until Gears 2 lol, that is the only game as a 360 exclusive I'm looking forward to. A few simple tweaks to the system would have completely fixed the issue, but they took the cheap way out and messed it up. I'd gladly pay 50 more for a system if it would have worked 98% of the time like the ps3 and wii.
so funny....... http://www.techradar.com/news/gaming/xbox/microsoft-accidentally-shows-off-dead-xbox-360-238897iqballo
Techradar pretending to be a legitimate website?! So funny! Seriously though... things are bound to happen. That whole article is a waste of time.

yo luigi ive read alot of your post you go over the deepend alot it aint that bad there are worst things then not playing games for a month or so. as long as they fix it for free im cool. sony does have a good r&d when the ps3 came out the cell processor was 1 out of 10 now that is impressive.[QUOTE="SexyPorkins"]Blah blah blah....every corporation is out to make money. Took the words out of my mouth, dude. Everyone thinks Microsoft is Satan; they are just like every other corporation. Excellent signature too.

At the risk of looking like I'm just trying to increase my post count: Thank you.

Customer Service has replaced my 360 twice with a brand new unit each time and each time it has taken less than two weeks. You could say the exact same thing about Sony.

What else do you expect them to do? Microsoft admitted they had a hardware problem a lost billions fixing it and gave EVERYONE a 3 year warranty. That is pretty good public relations if you ask me. Corporations take the cheap way out all of the time. Look at Firestone Tires in the 90's, the Pinto fiasco of the 70's, and all of the Mattell recalls this past year. If you honestly think that MS is the only one than I don't know what to tell you.

Meh, it happens to every tech related company that shows off frequently.
Anyone remember the MASS playstation 3 failures at nearly every walmart and futureshop? There wasn't one in site that hadn't failed or crashed. That was swept under the rug quickly.
The point is, it happens to nearly every tech related thing on display. Not that I'm trying to say the RROD problem is anything besides pathetic, but one crashed console at a convention isn't all that embarassing.
