Don't sell the 360, it has sucky hardware but since you have one you might aswell keep it for the exclusives.
According to MS side of the story it sounds like it was Nintendos doing, but I have yet to hear Nintendos side before reaching a conclusion.
I have many reasons to get rid of it. As a matter of fact the biggest kicker of them all is they won't put out Rare's biggest franchise game ever, Killer instinct 3. The interface is slow. No group chat on Live. Xbox Live service I Pay For runs like garbage. They lead their customers on with the big hitters, games like halo and put out a bunch of good games until the big hitter comes out then its a slump for a long long time. Halo 3 was a huge dissapointment, they used like 40% of the 360 system resources which is a wasted game. I have owned an Xbox 360 from day one launch and I have had a bitter taste in my mouth from the Xbox for so long. I have put $4000+ into the xbox 360 and games and accesories. The system is set up so 90 percent of the game's promoted and good when played online. I am going back to my roots with Playstation. While I'm on the Playstation 3 subject these are my reasons that it is gonna finish the 360 off, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2 which will have 2 full campaigns to play through, Final FantasyXIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, God of War 3, Socom, and many more games. Rumble and sixaxis controllers. the godly flash card support it has, hdmi port with full 1080p suppport.
I just can't find it in myself to keep the Xbox 360 anymore
The only 2 games I'd be interested to get would be Metal Gear Solid 4 and God Of War 3.... all the others don't shine in my eyes.... and while on the topic of the PS3, how are those Blu-Ray movies treating you?
It sure sucks having to rely on the beaten to death excuse "Oh, well ps3 has these *insert unreleased game here* coming soon"
Obviously not soon enough.
Go ahead and sell your 360, it's not like Microsoft or anyone cares for that matter.

you just pretty much mentioned ALL of them.. haha, plus repeating ffxiii twice. your arguments also fail.. miserably. it looks like an angry rant out of pure dislike for the console. you make it seem like halo 3 left a bad taste but then again have you played the hundred of fps the system offers? i feel bad for you for falling into the halo hype. it's your fault. and if your xbox live runs like garbage then get a better connection buddy, because if it does run like garbage it's only temporarily depending on the people you're playing with. you make no sense.

Your selling your 360 because of Goldeneye, a N64 Nintendo game and are "going back to your roots" Playstation. Why don't you just keep both. If you invested $4K on the 360 I'm sure you can afford $50 on it's live service.
So Microsoft and Nintendo cancelled Goldeneye XBLA with only 2 months of development left. The game was identical to Goldeneye 007 with new textures. Looks like I am selling my Xbox 360 today now. That was the final strike for me.TheGearsOfWar33Boooo to you!!!!
Have you TRIED playing Goldeneye lately? It's utter crap by todays standardsFood_Nipple
You're right. Graphics and useless features are much better than fun.
I find it rather hysterical that cobra has a final fantasy 10 picture in his nametag yet he is gonna try and hold a candle against sony. along the lines of goldeneye being outdated by todays standards may be true, but it stills has an amazing level of fun factor to it which is why people love the game so much.TheGearsOfWar33
:/ how did i "hold a candle" against sony when i didn't bash them? my 2nd fav console will always be the ps2 and i own a ps3. but the ps3 is standing next to the tv with resistance on top since i finished it. i am bashing (if i was according to you) what your decision was based on and what your arguments are when it comes to defending the ps3 against the 360. i will get ffxiii.. when it comes out. but if you're gonna use the games library argument to hold it against the 360 then you're gonna fail or look bad like you just did.
which means developers are gonna be in a pickle whetever to develop games on hd-dvd or dvd9 because if they develop for hd-dvd they potentially screw over 17 millions xbox360 usersTheGearsOfWar33
This reminds me of something... Maybe a mix between Sega CD and Sega's GBROM being a terrible format.
I have had a very bad experience with xbox 360 in terms of how they market 90 percent of their games into multiplayer over live, what happened to playing a game because it was fun, not because it had these 600 different gameplay types for multiplayer, bit of a exag. but still you get the idea. I want to sit down and play a game from beginning to end in singleplayer there is only a few games that are well done like that on the xbox 360. Bioshock, Call of Duty 2 on Veteran, Oblivion, FEAR, Need For Speed Most Wanted. Keep in mind I have owned 40 xbox 360 games since launch, and I have 75 XBLA games.
I don't about you but COD4 and gears of war, and TF2 are all great online, I have had little problem with live until late december/early january, other wise, works as expected. My 360 isn't slow menues, the last update sped the menu system up considerably. Go sell yours, go run to your new white sony ps3 and sit and wait for games to come out that never will, since they are all on the 360. Killer Instinct 3 would have been amazin, don't get me wrong, but who cares really? Golden Eye? You would sell your system over a remake of a 15 year old game? Its a piece of s*** game now a days. Yes, back when 3d FPS games were new, goldeneye was king, but now its nothing but a peon of histories aging process.
Sell it if you want, but so far you haven't given me any convincing reason to believe you are mad at ms.
I am making my gaming experience futureproof for at least the next 4 years, storage size for games also is a big part of it to. And by the way Microsoft is planning on releasing an HD-DVD ready xbox 360 after Grand Theft Auto 4 releases, and they also mentioned if need be they would put Blu-Ray on the 360TheGearsOfWar33
Ok, please stop trolling on these fourms. The things you are complaing about can be said for all systems (long time between big titles, no group chat and so on).
If you like the PS3 so much go to the PS3 forums and drool over it there.

1. There are issues with Killer Instinct 3. Yes, it was developed by Rare (the first 2), but published by Midway and Nintendo. So I'm sure there are some issues there.
2. Interface isnt THAT slow.
3. Group chat. No big deal to me. Not big enough to drop the console alltogether.
4. I have no problems with Live. Maybe over the last few weeks, but its not a big deal.
5. All systems have slumps. The PS3 has had 1 since launch.
6. Its your OPINION that Halo 3 was a disappointment. But basing your decision to get rid of your 360 on one game being bad in your opinion is kinda lame. So I guess any game on the PS3 is wasted too huh? Since none of them use the console to its full potential.
7. Wow, you just listed ALL of the good games for the PS3. All 6 of em.
8. Sixaxis. HAHA.
9. Ohhhh. Flash card support. Big deal.
10. Don't keep it. Give it or sell it to someone who will really appreciate it.
Here's an idea MS: BUY Nintendo!
God knows they have the money.
xerxes5678
Hmmmm, do you know how much Nintendo is WORTH. They are like the 2nd largest company in Japan, in terms of market share. If I remember correctly only Toyota is larger. Yes, thats right, they are larger than Sony, in terms of market share, that is.

MS should by toyota! and then Toyota should become the parent company of Nintendo who should then invest in sony

Not saying they couldn't. MS could probably buy the entire world if they wanted to.Heck Bill Gates by himself could make a decent attempt I'm sure.
Wait, so would that mean that all Toyota's would come equipped with a PSWii60? Sweet.

Word. I can see maybe possibly getting it for novelty and maybe a day or two of fun, but long term? No way. Its like a lot of people that cry out for some of their old Xbox games to be BC, they want it sure, but are they going to play it? Nope. Except for NFL 2K5 since a better football game has not been released :)

Do you guys understand why Bill Gates is considered to be so rich? Sure he's rich, but how much of his assets are actually liquid? Probably not much.
What MS should have done is buy BioWare, that's it. Can't believe they didn't do that.

Companies always say things when presented with rumors like we cannot confirm or deny that. or at the present juncture we have no plans to. When asked about the HD-DVD equiped 360 Microsoft said flat out no we are not ever going to make one and that has been their posistion since the launch. So there will never be an HD-DVD equiped 360 get over it, right now all you do is look like an idiot by speaking out of your ass like that. And as for the Blu-Ray player, its been mentioned that it is a possibility but the rumors around it point to it being a third party Blu-Ray player and not a microsoft made one.

and you think the ps3 has more to offer, lol. i say you go and get a ps3...if this post is even real. if you think the games are better on the ps3 and come out faster than the 360s, you should go. because u already have the delusion factor of a cow. lol, you even said you have to wait to long between games as an arguement...cows are still waiting for a completly good game to own. thats why their software sales are a joke. Xbox Live is crap?? no group chat...taste the garbage that is PSN and sulk in the mistake you made. communication on PSN is utter trash.
plus how can you say that a big factor in this is Xbox live isn't what you expected(which is probably ur internet connection) then complain about how too many games put too much in multiplayer and online...?
this whole post doesn't seem real...damn near every reason he put for not liking the 360 are the main reasons people are saying the ps3 isn't any good.

If xbox live is the biggest factor, then wait till you see PSN and XBM............ you will cry. dashbard slow and unresponsive? meet xmb it cant even be used in-game
Xbox live slow and no group chat?, meet PSN slower then u could imagine (3 hours to DL turok vs 30 minutes) as for group chat good luck chatting with anyone outside of your current game

FFXIII AND FFXIII Versus. There ARE 2 FF games. The ONLY reasons that I still have my 360, which after buying a PS3 3 weeks ago I'm finding to be an awesomely inferior piece of hardware that's only supported by its impressive library of software, is because of Mass Effect as of right now. I've found only six exclusive games due out in 2008 that I'm interested in, whereas my list for PS3 games is up near 20 (the rest being multiplats). If it weren't for the fact that I could only get $300 for all my 360 stuff and Mass Effect, I'd get rid of it. The limitations of disc capacity and not being able to program with HDD caching in mind is starting to severely limit the 360. I've had a great time with it, but my 360 has pretty much just become a vessel through which Mass Effect can be released :P The console exclusives I want for the 360 are as follows: Fable 2, Alan Wake, Jade Empire 2, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery, and Splinter Cell Conviction. I'm pretty PO'd that they'd abandon Goldeneye for XBLA, myself, and I highly doubt that Nintendo had any influence in the matter as they don't own the intellectual property anymore. On a side note, I don't think Halo 3 counts as a next gen game, either. Xbox180 maybe.
