Microsoft cuts Xbox DVD player to $179 - Includes 5 free movies.

NEW YORK, July 26 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. (MSFT.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday it would lower the price of its Xbox 360 high-definition DVD player to $179 in the United States, from $199, and add five free movies to anyone who buys the machine in August or September.

5 free movies? hmm... not bad. That's like $100 right there.

although I dont' watch movies that much. Can I get Sopranos Season 6 instead? Is there any info about getting a TV show of the same value instead of 5 movies?
