I was really annoyed at Aegis Wing not being released in Europe so I decided to rant about it on the Xbox.com forums but i was on Xbox.com when i found this on the Aegis Wing gamespace (I know this is old)

Also included is a unique cooperative mode of play in which up to three additional players can "attach" to the leader ship and become independant, 360-degree gun turrets.

Best of all,Aegis Wing is available as a free download from XBOX LIVE Arcade to all Gold and Silver members!

Well I'm a Gold member and I can't download it, why?

Just make an American account and download it. Thats all I did and it worked. You don't even need a Gold account, just use the free Silver one. After the download is complete, you can play it on your real GamerTag. See you on Xbox Live.

Yeah ur a funny guy but theres new rules i ead about that MS are stopping people who violate region laws or something along those lines

Tell me something... if you download gamerpictures from the US marketplace with a US account; can you use those pictures on you're European (original) account too? I'm asking since we have like almost no gamerpictures here. 

Actually, it is quite free. Having lived in a cave for the past few months apparently, I missed the fact that it was free to download until I read this thread.  I just finished downloading it not two minutes ago.  It is definitely still free for American users at least.
