Alright I called MS today becasue my 360 is being has been freezing, ect. They said I need to send it in and said it would be a maximum of 15 days befor i get it back. Is that true?

about right. 2-5 days to send u box, 2-5 days ship back, depending whats wrong with it/ older xbox. they make fix it or swap out it out. so thats other 1-3 days, then 2-5 days ship back... then count the weekends where there is no shipping. Ask them about advance replacement. IDK if microsoft does it but i know Nintendo does. You have to give them a credit card but instead of getting a empty box to ship yours back. you get advance replacement. it don't cost more but the credit card is to ensure you do send your xbox back
also another question, has anyone gotten a system back that runs great

umm. back in 07 i had send my 06 model in lasted till 2010 till it died. then i picked up a slim. Depending how old your xbox is where you have old chip set. They give you the jasper chip Set. thats for fat xboxs but idk about slims.
