OMG That's amazing! Well not very very amazing but still, 80$ for kinect is pretty affordable, and air guitar sounds pretty fun haha, and GTA5, I hope it's actually GTA and not only story based, GTA4 didn't have the GTA feel, like San Andreas, heck Saints Row 2 was more GTA than GTA4
Seems odd to me that MS would keep GTA5 under wraps at E3... that alone keeps me skeptical about this little announcement. What is GamesCom that it would get the GTA announcement instead of E3, the biggest game show of the year?

Gamescon is in mid-August I believe. Back on topic, I'm a little skeptical I really don't think Microsoft would set a definitive price this early before the holiday season.

I just thought that people who ripped GTA IV because it didn't allow you to put nitrous in your cars or was lacking a jet pack or a tank (initially), that they completely overlooked and dismissed the technological achievement and level of detail of Liberty City, and the attention to detail in the interweaving of stories of Niko, Johnny and Luis. What they accomplished there was something really special.
Wasn't one of the MS' CEO's mention that "Xbox hardcore gamers will pick up Kinect on day one"? Maybe his quote has something to do with this? We could only hope this leaked is true.

um....they have already said kinect is gonna be $150 Well the 150 was a placeholder, 80 makes sense, because 150 kinect wont sell very well, but 80 seems negotiable, especially because it seems to have been dumbed down in specs
Yeah the only way Kinect will sell is getting the price under $100. $79.99 seems like it makes more sense. They can't actually expect too many people to pay $150 for a system with only like 6 games at launch.
They also need to get the game prices down. $49.99 or even better $39.99 will sell even more. Even though the games do look better than what is on the Wii, who is going to pay $10 ($60) more for basically the same games they've already played on a different system?

Is GamesCom going to be streamed live or on TV at all? I really want to see the announcements. I can't make the show because I'll be across the country.
