Mirriors Edge Demo

So what do you all think about it so far? I personaly found this game to be amazing and fun. I doubt this game will get boring at all lol. i mean who else love to roundhouse kick them guards in the face?

Its alright, but It seems it can get repetitive pretty fast, not to mention theres no multiplayer. (Unless Im wrong)

The demo to me was new and exciting, it was especially fun when I missed jumps and was pummeled to the road below :)

Its between Mirror's Edge and Far Cry 2 for me. I hear mixed things about FC2, but it's a huge game with decent online, and Mirror's Edge was amazing but I'm not sure about the overall lasting appeal.jamejame

Lol FC2 online is not OK, in ranked matches (the only way to level up weapons) people stack and camp seriously, all through the matches i was, but you mainly use dedicated servers for it so there's no lagg so i guess it balances it out.

I Didn't Really Pay That Much Attention To Mirror's Edge Until I Got The Demo And It Was Just Amazing.

Don't forget the awesome time trial features.

You try to get through courses as fast as possible and then you can get a ghost of your best time so you can try to beat it. You can also download the ghost of the player who is at the top of the leaderboard so you can see how they do it and try to beat it to become number 1.

I'm about to play it, it's downloaded as I type this.

Honestly the only doubt I have is the character you play as, A stereotypical karate Asian chick. How original.

Hopefully it won't be that big of a deal, and better yet, hopefully I'm totally wrong about the character.

I loved the demo though.

I was looking forward to it, but after the demo I dunno if I want it anymore...

I heard that the single player was only really around 3 hours long (there are about 10 levels + prologue) so I'm debating between buying it or just renting for a week (I'm not to bothered about the online... time-trial ghosts aren't my thing especially when there will be some bright spark who tops the leaderboard with a time of 0:00 by gltching).Dr_Henry

if it's only 3 hours then the person who gave it a 10 out of 10 in the commercial needs a new job...lol

In regards to those concerned by my "3 hour gameplay" post.

That is just what I HEARD from someone. It doesn't mean it is true, although it could be.

Basically, with 10 levels, it is around 18 minutes per level. For a game in which the level is running from A to B with no real need to stop, it is not looking unlikely to be 3-4 hours. I'd hope for it not to be though, although the creators could have shortened the game to stop it being repetitive?
