ok so i played the demo for mirrors edge and really liked it, but it seems like it wuldnt be long, and i dont want to spend 60 bucks on a on day game, so m wondering how long appx is it, does it get repetitive, and is there any replayability?
It depends. If you have the money it's a great game for your collection. If not, you may want to wait for a price drop. I thought it was a great experience and well worth the 60 dollars. Then again, I typically don't judge a game buy it's length.
i think its worth buying because its one of those games you would play again, if you count time trials and achievements as replay value but personally im not a renting kinda person, depends on how much cash u have floating around i suppose
This game is one of the most innovative of the year. It is fun, great to replay and with the DLC coming out in january it is gonna get even better. Buy this game!!
If you are a premium game player, that is to say you are willing to pay a lot of money for a very different and new game idea, then you should buy it. If you expect 20-40 hours of quality game time out of it then you should wait for a price drop. Personally I think there isn't enough there for most people to need to buy it, a rental will do. Then if you fall in love with it you can buy it and not feel bad about it, but the majority of people will be satisfied with a weekend rental from this game.
Yes its short, but i think it is really fun. In my opinion its not really repitive feeling, even though you do do a lot of the smae basic moves, it never gets old if you ask me. And somehow they managed to create very diverse map, yes theres a lot of rooftop but each one has its own design and feels different, and theres also a lot of indoor and other kinds of environment. THeres also the time trials once you beat it, which is basically where they take a small portion of the map and have you go throught it as quick as possible. Getting it in certain times awards you with points, which can unlock achievements, and increase leaderboard ratings, or you can just try to beat your own times. The story also has three difficulties, and its not the easiest game so youll liely want to play it on a harder difficulty. ITs a lot of fun i recommend it, and its not much shorter than your avergage FPS
