Do u consider the inclusion of DC characters and the extreme makeover of the series a stupidity or just pure genious? In my opinion it is smart cause they finally realized that the last MK games all sucked and they had to innovate or the series was going to die. And the fact that I love super heroes just help it. I will miss the fatalities....

A child friendly version of Mortal Kombat will be terrible. Just think how sweet it would have been to fatality Aquaman and rip his spine out through his head?
Although I think it's ridiculous to make ANY MK game less then M, I mean it was the controversial game before GTA, I'm still looking forward to the title
it is stupidity..because the DC comic heroes dont have the same look or fighting style that mortal kombat has and it would look kinda weird seeing batman or (sigh) superman fight like this..hopefully the mortal kombat combatants bring there kryptonite...lol

they are targeting little kids and there moms with this one idk whats there plan maby get the kids into mk serise and they aready know the fanbows well buy it. who knows it not even gonna M rated and it gonna have super heros thats just two thinks that parants be look at lol

Absolutely right! A T-Rated Mortal Kombat? Mortal Kombat without fatalities? Aren't the fatalities, friendships, etc... what made Mortal Kombat a great game? You didn't just beat your opponent, you ripped his head off. Honestly, there are some DC characters I'd love to put a fatality on. This is like a kick to the balls for some of the fans.
I was slightly intrigued until I learned the game wasn't going to be M rated. Now I am 100% sure that this is a cheap cash grab effort to make money off of the fan boys of each respective entities. I'm not touching this game unless it scores a lot of really nice reviews.
I believe that this is Midway's attempt at - Marvel vs. Capcom
I worked in a comic shop and even though there was a hugh adult fan base, a lot of parents were buying the comics for thier kids. I'm guessing that Midway knows that parents won't buy thier child a comic book related game for thier kids with a M-Rating.
I think it's a pretty weird idea just in how both sets of characters are so different, so they have to get rid of the gore and fatalities.
If they should of done ANYTHING with MK and DC, just throw Batman into the game of all MK characters, like Soul Calibur 2 did with Link and Spawn n stuff, or how Dead or Alive 4 put in the Spartan.

And then use the spine as dental floss. God, I hate DC nowadays. Marvel FTW. Oh and a T-rated Mortal Kombat is like taking Solid Snake's balls away.
I'm going to go there... MK was never a good series. I played it like everyone did but it is so shallow. All the blood in the world can't make up for the weak combo system.
