MW2, just because I've played CoD4 so much that I think I'm done with it for good. Though I must admit my time with CoD4 was much more enjoyable than my current experience with MW2.
Spec Ops saves MW2's ass I rekon . Cod4 multi player is much better , guns are balanced-assault rifles arn't over powered and you can actually snipe without worrying about that ACR or SCAR on the other side of the map .

Why not go back to CoD 4 if you're tired of MW2? I prefer CoD4 hands down, i think they altered to much with MW2 and replaced what wasn't broken. Because all the good competition and my friends have moved to MW2.
Cod4. Great campaign and great simple/balanced multiplayer with great maps. MW2 is the complete opposite in all those categories. The only good to come out of that game is Spec Ops.

Yeah because you can't re release the same game twice. I agree that COD4 was much better but they had to make smalll adjustments to be able to call it a sequel

I don't find multiplayer shooters fun unless you're with a good group of friends. Luckily Mass Effect 2 is out so I'm taking a long break from MW2
The thing is with COD 4 is that it's not outdated, it came out 3 years ago but still has great graphics, plays better than MW2, more balanced than MW2, little to no flaws, has an amazing campaign (but short), the arcade mode is fun as well. I mean the only think I liked better about MW2 was its Spec Ops mode, which was better than COD 4's arcade. MW2's multiplayer caters to novice players, heart beat sensors ? dual shot guns ? commando perk, which basically turns knife only players into leopards WTF kinda war game ... ?
CoD4 easily. I hate MW2. Hate's a strong word, but I really dislike it compared to CoD4. I'm playing CoD4 for multiplayer right now, Spec Ops is fun but boring quickly. CoD4 Search all day everyday baby. MP5 Red Dot USP Silenced/Deagle Stun x3 SP Dead Silence God I love it.....every waking moment of it, CoD4 has been the best gaming purchase of my life so far. I praise it.
CoD4 has lasted longer than MW2 will, so CoD4 is better in my opinion. MW2 is full of nuke boosters, spawn killers, and also all of the screaming kids in the lobbies. Also, CoD4 is also more consistant than MW2 because of the killstreaks being overpowered.

CoD 4, I guess. It was more fresh, I liked the maps more, the kill streaks weren't as ridiculous, and I thought the campaign plot was better. More believable and it made more sense. That said though I wouldn't say one is significantly better than the other in any way and neither of them were really my cup of tea.

Yes. The weapons in MW1 aren't OPed compared to some of the BS weapons on MW2 like dual wielding shotguns and the hearbeats. (Just like having a UAV on your screen the whole time).
Spec Ops is pretty awesome though. I don't know how people do it on veteran -.-
MW2 for the most part except for all of the loser campers and cheaters and people that only play FFA to get a nuke and ruin the game for everyone else.
