If Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare will be made into film, who do you prefer to directing it :

1. Ridley Scott (Black Hawk Down)

2. Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker)

3. Susanna White & Simon Cellan-Jones (Generation Kill)

4. Sam Mendez (Jarhead)

5. David O Russell (Three Kings)

Ridley Scott, BUT, does the world really need a CoD movie ? Black Hawk down and movies of that sort are good enough for me. Love the games, just dont see the point in a movie however. Still a CoD film makes wayyyyy more sense than Asteroids: The Movie.....

it's hollywood. the fact is Modern Warfare 2 sales beaten any hollywood movies that opened the same day as the game came out. so hollywood must have spoted that.

It's just a war game I truly doubt they would screw it up. It'll just be your average war movie with a few characters named after MW1/2 characters.

You have to be kidding. Screw it up? Without Hollywood, there would be no damn "Call of Duty", that's a fact. Call of Duty, is and always has been, basically a tribute to a ton of Hollywood action movies, like The Rock in MW2, or Saving Private Ryan/any other WW2 movie for the older games.

Also, what intricately crafted story is there to "screw up" in CoD? The games story is incredibly shallow, and undeniably over-the-top/preposterous

Another thing- don't compare movie sales to games sales, new games are $60 a pop, a movie ticket varies between $6-10.

I don't see how a CoD movie would be any different than any other war movie. that is, if they were to make a Modern Warfare 2 movie.

***SPOILER***

they could include the part where Shepard betrays you and kills Ghost. it would make a pretty sweet plot to line IMO :D
