Money is Pointless in GTAIV

I feel you buddy. I finished with about 900k and did nothing with it. I just got 100% and now i'm completly done with the game. I've never been completly done playing a GTA game this quickly.

im around 68% i did have 73.35% but i needed an achievement so i started over and accidenilly overwrote my main file...doh!

actually, filling up your weapons inventory with full ammunition takes up money quickly............

After finishing the game with $700k, causing a few rampages brought me down all the way to $150k...

$700k to $150k!! I was pretty surprised I spent that much on weapons....:?

WTF are you talking about! With $600k you could buy the most expensive services from the "ladies of the night" more than 9,000 times.

There isn't much to buy.

Weapons and armour are the biggest expense, followed by medical bills, and as long as you fight and get killed, instead of arrested and have all your weapons taken, you will have hundreds of thousands by the end of the game. The downside is that once you reach the end game, if you run out of money, there is very little you can do to earn more.

I've completed it 100%, earnt somewhere in the region of 1.3m, and still have over 700k. I used taxis loads to get around, You can't buy cars, can't upgrade cars, can't buy houses or businesses. Now I've finished it I can sell it. It's kinda disappointing, as I spent much more time on each of the previous 3 GTAs and never finished those 100%.
