Supports 4 player local multiplayer, but NO online multiplayer - that is a very strange decision.

I could see this being fun online over Live, but not just against the computer, or finding other people willing to spend a lot of time playing it locally

Even though I don't really care either way, whomever made this game got hit with the stupid stick way too many times as the only way this game would ever come close to being a success is because of online play.

I didnt even know they were thinkign of making this game. I probably wont get it but if I did, I'd be happy there was no online... I am the WORST sport in that game... I am ruthless when I am winning and just quit when I know I'm definately not going to win. I'd get 50,000 bad rep reports for squashing ppl like bugs and quitting early lol

I was shocked to find out after giving them my $40.00 for the game (my partner was right, we should have bought it used or for cheap on ebay) that it doesn't have an online lobby to meet up with others to play the game. It completely blows the game out of the water as being a monopoly that we will play on any regular basis. We only wish that Monopoly Party would run on the 360 but we couldn't get it to do so. I don't know if that version had an online component but it was a better game. Not being able to play with just the two of us without any AI players blows too. And having no options to turn off the AI's token moving around the board (to speed up the game) blows as well. I certainly won't buy another Monopoly game for the 360 ever again, regardless if it has some sort of online lobby to meet up with people or not, Im about feeling cheated on this version without an online component. The developers/publishers blew it big time on this one!

WOW no online play...what where they thinking i almost bought this game for my brother back home so i can schools him in some Monopoly good thing i didn't waste my cash.............THANKS FOR THE INFO

Actually having everything automated makes it a lot faster. I played Monopoly on the original Xbox and each game we played took about 45 minutes (now it can take longer of course and 45 minutes is still pretty long). And to be honest i could care less if it is online. The only reason the game is fun is because your playing with your friends. And even then this game can become a chore to actually finish.

Now when i'm playing monopoly at home, I can find a game can take hours. I can't imagine that being fun online with people leaving.

Good points. And the fun thing about playing monopoly with your friends is that you can break the rules.
