So i read in another thread that bungie pplanned on adding more chapters to halo 3, to prolong it, is this true? and if so... how? i mean we've played to the end, i understand if they didnt end the game and kept adding in some chapters evry now and then, butt im confused on how they are going to go about doing this
It wouldnt have to be about Halo ringsif something else was made in the "Halo" galaxie what if there was another ark? 500 years after master chief? New spartans are created to defend against the enemy? You could do so much with Halo even after halo 3.
Another cool idea...the forunners return...to extinguish the flood with a biological weapon they have spent thousands of years developing to cover the whole galaxy. You have to help them, or maybe this fleet of forunners get held captive by the enemy and you have to save them? Sorry for my rants.
Its a Sci-Fi story so they can add anything they want. What I think is that they will have another biblical story with master chief with another story arc. The Halo trilogy resembled Naoh's Ark. Who go's to say that another Alien Regime isnt out to ruin something on another planet?
I think the obvious answer is you play as the arbitor. the last thing he says is he wants to go to his home planet to make sure its okay. they could get there and find it under attack by brutes. there weren't any arbitor missions in the game so...

If they were to make Campaign DLC, I find this the best possibility.

yeah thats a very good idea actually, i think this sounds like the most realistic chance the game has for another title, i mean we finsihed the fight with master chief and cortana obviously, and now manybe they can continue the story with the arbitor, and hopefully sometime down the road the master chief and the arbitor somehow meet up again and the arbitor can realize master chief wasnt dead.......
Halo is just to good ofa story to let die after only 3 games, let master chief go maybe, but not the story.. i know there are other games like halo wars and such, but thats not the same.. RTS's i find dont have the best story lines. so another fps would be best for the series.. oh i reallly hope theres another one.. 3 games really isnt enough to warrent this type of story

yeah, thats the most likly one, but i just hope to god halo dosnet turn into some prolonged game sequels, kinda what happened to starwars, you know, you can look up starwars and find like 70 bad games, and maby 2 moderate ones.
i guess if they really wanted they could go back and do an expansion to the story that takes place during the story i doubt it though but it would be cool to see the story from the marines point of view maybe jhonson
They have a lot of story in the books that they have not told in the games. enough for three new Halo games.
Personally I hope Bungie makes a new IPand not a Halo sequal. not yet anyway.

yeah its obvious now that halo is no whee close to ending and thats how they tried to sell it but yeah bungiw should give halo a nice long rest im talking bout we probably shouldnt even see another one until the next xbox
I beat the game on legendary too, in co-op. But did anyone else think it was a little on the short side? We plowed through it in about 7 hours :S Still a great game though, I had fun throughout the whole thing.
