Anybody got any ideas when we're going to see the demo? I know it was released for PSN last week, but still nothing for XBL - Really looking forward to this :)

I read from an article that there doesn't seem to be any real plan for there to be a X360 demo unfortunately. Lets hope otherwise.

No.
But this MK has quite clearly gone back to basis and the original characters etc etc. We've all seen trailers and its awesome.
Even if the game sucks it will still be awesome because its mortal **** kombat dude. :D
You're not missing much.. I was gonna get the tournament edition but after playing the demo I'm not even gonna buy it.

I wasn't impressed either. Not enough special moves, weak fatalities, boring gimmick x-ray moves, cool combos but they get old as there are not enough for me.

Purely out of interest, what was it that gave you such a bad impression?
I've yet to play the game but I thought the demo looked fun?

I have an XBOX, but my brother has a PS3 and i played the demo already. In my opinion, best mortal kombat ever made. Smooth fighting, amazing graphics, so happy they brought it back to the original 2d fighting plane. Fatalities are crazy brutal. I don't know what these other people are talking about. I preordered the game already, and don't regret it at all. I also like that they give you one fatality in your moves list, but according to Boon, the game is going to be full of other hidden fatalities and moves. Also, they don't really give u many combos, but that doesnt mean they don't exist. Boon wanted to bring it back to like it was before there was a move list, where you had to figure things out for yourself. I thought the game was fantastic, and am crazy stoked for the game release.[QUOTE="Dave_442"][QUOTE="Darkslayer16"]

Well said my friend! I hate people that 100% judge a game by the Demo for two reasons. First it is a D-E-M-O. Not the full game! When a demo is relseased 99 times out of 100 the game is still in development and the designers are working out bugs and listening to fan feed back as to what works and what doesn't. They then incorporate that into the game and make improvements off of it. Second, why would a developer release all the fatalities and all the moves and everythign in a demo? Then there is no need to go out and get the game. It is a small taste of what to expect. I too have played the demo with this in mind and I am super excited for the game. I am actually really excited about the hidden character Cyber Sub Zero, mainly because I love the story line of sub zero, cyrax, sector, smoke, etc. So learning why the second sub zero (yes for those who don't follow the one you play now is actually the younger brother of the origional sub zero who is now known as Noob Siobot) decided to allow himself to undergo that process (again this is just speculation as to who is Cyber SubZero is, but it's what makes sense based on lure). So hey if you dont like the demo and don't want the game, that is fine. But you will be missing out.[QUOTE="Darkslayer16"]

That demo has four characters and not all of anything. It's extremely, extremely limited. And I've also read that this Mortal Kombat (and going by the videos) is very fast.
The full game has tons of fatalities, something like 30 stages, stage fatalities, 28 characters plus 3 downloadable characters, minimum, tons of moves, moves and combos listed, the challenge tower, story mode, online multiplayer, etc. The demo is nothing like the full game.
