I find the achievements in F.E.A.R. to be nigh impossible in many cases. 1000 online games? Beating the game on extreme difficulty seems impossible. I tried doing it on Instant Action and it doesn't take more than a few shots before you go down. Then there is one where you beat the game without using slo-mo, beat it without using health, beat it without dying, plus a bunch of online achievements. The online modes in this game just aren't that fun and the matches seem to go on forever. Anyway...that's my two cents. I have a bunch of games and DEAD RISING has some real beasts but I know I could do them if I really tried. I don't feel that way with F.E.A.R.JiveT
Yeah I know how you feel, but what got me pissed was the way they spread out the GS points across the single player especialy what you get for completing each level.
But the multiplayer points arent hard they just take time to get the 1000 kill thing I didnt bother since I dont like playing games Im bored off its a bit pathetic just to play it for the points.
Which ones in deadrising are the hardest? I just started playing deadrising and I got 20\50 and I'm currently going for 50 suvivors and getting all the psychopaths and photos...should have around 40 when I finish the current game i'm in...then I'll go for the rest of them.Aftermath6
I've got over half the points in Dead Rising, and one of them stands out as something I'm just not going to do: 7 Day Survivor. You have to play Infinite Mode and survive for seven days, which will take about 14 hours. You can't save for the whole time you play it... what if you die in hour thirteen? Well, sucks for you, no points. Plus, you'd either have to leave your 360 on and let it explode from overheating or play it straight through for 14 hours (something I just don't have the patience for). Not happening. :P
The Saint achievement (50 survivors) is probably pretty difficult as well, but I plan on going for it. I got about 35 survivors on my first playthrough, so it can't be too hard.
get no collision in ridge racer 6....... one of the hardest out there now.360player_eq12
how about getting 1,000,000 points on coop for a song in Guitar Hero II, not only do you have to be insanely good at guitar hero but you have to find a friend who is as well and then you both have to play something like freebird on expert perfectlyDraelkar
I have read that Final Fantasy XII's achievements aren't even disclosed, you have to accidentally do whatever it is the achievement requires of you then you'll get the message.. "Hey, you! Yeah, you got an achievement, now go outside and get a life for awhile!" Okay, that's what it should say... No one has gotten 1,000 points for that title. Good luck on that one!
I have to agree with Danny O'Dwyer... Bejeweled's achievements came from the devil or an imp, at the least. I haven't gotten one of those damn achievements yet, not that I haven't tried!
The game I find really hard to get achievements for are Geometry Wars... forget about achieving 1,000,000 points and not dying, I can't even stay alive till 100,000. Fear, yeah... haven't gotten any points on that one either. Also, I don't know when I'll hit the 100% completion mark on Lego Star Wars II.
Till I get some of the those under my belt, I have my Rayman Raving Rabbids and Gears of War achievements to think fondly on.

Exactly that is my thought too, I am pretty good at this game, but finding someone else that good is difficult, or for me personally right now the hardest is beating jordan on expert.

Some of those in FEAR aren't too hard. I've beaten three out of the four instant action maps on Extreme, so I've almost got that achievement. Beating the game without slo-mo makes it harder, but there's nothing saying you can't do it on easy. Same goes for the no health powerups one.
Where I agree totally, and what makes FEAR ridiculous on the achievements is this one:
Survivalist: "Complete the Campaign on any difficulty without dying"
I couldn't believe it when I first read that. Beat the game without dying? Really? Really? That is insane. Some achievements are hard, but if you screw up, you can just reload your game. And to make it even more ridiculous, there's a couple jumping areas in FEAR. You know, where you leap over bottomless pits like in every other shooter ever made. So it's possible to die just from the environment, not from the enemies. What a s***load of f***.
How about the achievement on GRAW: BE RANKED NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD... all other achievements just got ownedrbush101a
This sort of thing kills me too. Quake 4 has the exact same thing, and I'm pretty sure I've seen this in other games. It's nice that's out there, but come on. That limits the number of 1000/1000 to only a handful of people. F***in' retarded.

People have FCd Jordan, and the 1 mil one person can be on hard. 750k in GH3 is near impossible, only possible on 3 songs

Godlike on Shadowrun = Kill the entire opposing team without taking any damage.jacksheets
yeah, i said **** off to that achivement :P
also, FARCRY, beating the game on every diff, its pretty hard (but you COULD use cheats) and online (80 hours, 80 trap kills or sumthing) collecting all vials was the most annoying (got all 1000 points tho)
The most difficult achievement is by far anything Final Fantasy XI has to offer. For people that have tried Final Fantasy XI, you'll agree.
I played Final Fantasy XI for 2.5 years and I would have not received a single achievement. Level a job to level 75? Get a synthesis skill at 100? Complete all missions for Bastok, San'Doria, and Windurst? (complete ALL missions to get the achievement. not just 1 missions for one achievement). Complete Dynamis? Does everyone get a chance to even go there?
And my vote for most difficult achievement: "Obtain the relic weapon". That is such a rarity. You may have a better chance bringing us world peace than than getting a relic weapon in Final Fantasy XI. That's no joke either.
First of all, you need to be level 75. That means you'll sacrafice a lot of time trying to level up and looking for group. If you happen to get high enough in levels, then you need items to enter Dynamis. If you get in, you better not wipe. If your team does wipe, getting that weapon won't happen. IF your team beats Dynamis (good luck), pray for YOUR cursed weapon to drop. You need a cursed weapon to begin getting a relic weapon (good luck with the horrible drop rates). Then you have to win the item from other players that want it too. If you are lucky enough to win the roll to get the cursed weapon, then you should probably go Vegas. After winning your cursed weapon, you need a sh*tload of gil in order to get certain items for it (making money in FFXI isn't easy). I'll stop there because the steps are too tedious and lengthy. And in the end, it'll be the hardest 40 GP you'll ever earn.
teengae mutant ninja turtles 1989 arcade. ya sure it's not that hard to beat the game, but some of the achivements are down right stupid hard!wreak
Like what? The really hard one for me is just beating the game online. I always die right there at the end.
Beating all the advanced maps in Portal is extremely hard. But you do get a nice 30 points for beating them all. Well really 60 points if you count the 10 and 20 points you get for beating 2 and 4 advanced maps.PlasmaBeam44i don't think so, it only took me about 45 minutes to beat all of them.
