Hey guys, I'm starting a thread in which you talk about some of your favorite games that didn't sell well and may have been overlooked even by hardcore gamers like you and I. Hopefully everyone will come away wanting to check out some games they've never heard about or didn't know if they were any good.
Anyhow, one of my favorite obscure titles on the 360 is Operation Darkness. There's no other game out there that combines JRPG gameplay, real WW2 history, classic literature, and quirky anime. You play through some actual WW2 history in a sort of alternate reality where you have characters in your party like Frankenstein's monster and Jack the Ripper, and you're up against tanks and soldiers who fight side-by-side with vampires and zombies, and the game ties it all perfectly in with the actual WW2 campaign, and Adolf Hitler (along with his top officers) are some of the bosses in the game. The game is a totally off-the-wall cheese-fest and yet it all works together so well.
What are some other obscure 360 games you love?
