motion sencing?

Two of my friends at school always give me crap for liking xbox. They are hardcore Playstation fanboys. So the other day one of them told me that microsoft is recalling all the controllers and making every game motion sensitive. I think this is crap but I'm not sure. After telling me all of this they said "oh looks like microsoft is copying sony and nintendo like they always do" and it gets on my nerves. your takes on all of this?

Wait why are they making fun of you? I thought PS3 was last in everything from Games to Sales.

And it is complete BS that M$ is recalling all controllers and making every game motion sensing.

If Microsoft copied it, then the competition should have been smart enough to patent the idea.

Cohesive/single-login online service, cordless controller (w/ vibration) that ships with console, achievements, in game soundtracks, background downloads, hard drive in console...a short list of things Microsoft did first that Sony has or will copy at some point.

Most importantly.....it's not who does what first. It's who does it better.
