moving saved game files

Can I move a saved game file between profiles? For example, I have 2 profiles. I started a game on an old profile without XBOX live and I want to switch it to my new profile with live. I was a newbie whenI started hence why I have 2 profiles. I really don't need the old profile if that helps. Any help would be great.

I did the same as you mate = BIG MISTAKE! I started playing under a profile, got live and the name was taken=made a new name and then had to start again for my live account. As far as I am aware you and I are stuck with it. NOTE FOR OTHERS: This should work if you have an offline profile and are getting live. When you get live check the name of your current profile. If taken check another name and then rename your offline profile as that unused name. Now add live to your account and you should have just he one profile that still has all your saves and is Live enabled (just a different name) Aventura54
