Ever since i put the NXE update on my 360, whenever i try to listen to music from my MP3 player when im playin da game & while im not playin da game, it takes 1-2 mintues for it to find the MP3 player device. but when my nephew plugged his iPod in da 360 it only took 1-2 secs, is any one else havin dis problem?? I have a creative zen 4GB mp3 player, and he has a ipod 8gb.
Its probably because the ipod is one of the most common portable devices out there. I use a Zune and the 360 recognizes it instantly probably because its made by Microsoft.
i have a whole different problem i have a samsung P2 8 gig and when i play music off of it it will play the first 30 seconds of the song and then go to the next one....really sucks
Who do i talk to with dis problem? because before da NXE update it would just take a sec or 2 for it to find my MP3 player. i also want to kno, is there anyone that has a sansa mp3 player & have da same problem? because im thinkin about gettin dis 16 GB Sansa Mp3 player for a good price($130)
If you're gonna get 8 gig mp3 then i say get Zune. I have a 30 gig... got it back when they came first came out and haven't had any problems.insane_metalist
had a 30 gig zune (first gen) didn't like the computer software and the zune itself scratched too easy and was slow ...
imo the zune is the best mp3 player ever, used to own 2 ipods and switched to the zune....never looking back. I don't have any problems though, sorry i was of no help
I dont know about the ipod touch, my iphone is not recognized either. but my regular ipod needs to be restored apparently to be recognized. So i have to erase my entire ipod which i put in many hours of work trying to organize it, only putting songs i wanted to hear on it. I have to go back and sort through 5k songs just so my xbox will recognize it ? damn you apple. half of my music is on back up dvds *sigh*
Buy a Zune, much better than an Ipod. I got my wife and Ipod this christmas. I recently went and picked up some new headphones for my zune, because I wanted a set that had the Volume control on the headphones. So I got this 30$ Headphones and I first tried them on my wifes IPOD and they sucked major @$$. Well Apperently it was my wifes Ipod, because on the zune these headphones rock. I guess the Zune has better hardware inside.
I've not had a problem with my device (iriver Clix 2 8gb) being recognized, but ever since the NXE update, I've found that opening a folder with MP3s in it takes about 10 seconds longer, which makes it quite painful if you want to pick a specific song...

I have a 2GB Creative Zen MP3......and it connects instantly when I plug the USB into my 360. But do you have the correct USB for your ZEN? The one that came with it? If not.....and your using another USB that happens to fit your ZEN, that might be your problem..but if that not it...it might be because your console is older.....or your didn't NAME your Zen....... If what i've said doesn't apply than I'm sorry.because i have ZEn and works great with my 360 PRO.
