Too bad Tecmo went back on it's word to him. He seems to have been very adamant about his games being on the XBox platforms, so it seems like he might take a job with Microsoft or that he'd if he joins another company/starts his own that he'd primarily be making games for their systems. That'd be sweet if he made it on his own.

from what i have read about the guy he seems that he might be better suited working on his own. I'm sure he will be snapped up somewhere.

I would love to see he makes a game on his own and it fails terribly. I bet even it does fail, he will say that it is the best game ever, and for the best system ever.

Who knows, maybe team up with PlatinumGames (ex-Clover/Capcom studios). Itagaki & Shinji Mikami, could be interesting. Mad World and Bayonetta seems right up Itagaki's alley combining artistic violence and combat.
