MS last consol????

I noticed alot of people are or have had alot of problems with their xboxes I just wanted to know if you think this will be MS last console I just got mine 4 days ago and someone said they are having recalls on the power cordLadyWolf1677

I'm asking this question because MS is losing 1.5 bill. due to re embersing people that had to pay for repair costs and extended warrentiesLadyWolf1677

1.5 bil is NOTHING to them. They'll make that up in Halo 3 and subsequent 360 sales.

They already improved it a bit more with the release of the Elite. That system hasn't reported having any problems except for one poster claiming something happend to his. But it's working fine now.

MS has been out of the red zone, in the console area, because of the 360. they are making way too much money and only plan to expand, if anyone is making their last console its sony. look at what all they have lost already. Lach0121

well i wasnt a big fan of the ps2, thought it was seriously overrated, but i really loved the ps1, it was a great system, it had some great games. like FFVII, parasite eve, silent hill. resident evil. and many more. but not a big fan of ps2.

their are like 8 million users on live. including the vista users. so thats 8 million times 50 is 400 million a year, not counting all the money from the DLC.

i am sure with this warranty crap that will drop them right back in the Red, but i do doubt its there last one, they will just be much more careful in production the next time around i can assure that. but microsoft is here to stay and sony will not go anywhere as much trouble they are having still early plus member gamecube got crushe last time but they stillmanaged to stick around (nintendo i mean) so not matter how bad it gets it wont get thatbad for niether to give up

It's the power supply comment of yours that I would like to talk about.

I got both the ROD and supply prob at the same time. When I sent in my first dud, I had my son hook up his 360 to my existing cables....including my supply. He then got the rod. When we hooked up his supply, all was fine with his console but not with mine.

I explained this little bit of trouble shooting when talking to the M$ rep. They didn't believe me.:|

They said that a green light on the supply (which I was getting,) meant no problemo. I told them I would curse like a sailor if the sent me back a box (all during the Halo beta mind you,) and it turned out to be something else.

Sure enough, I still got the rod.

To make a long story short, i had to pay to have my supply shipped to them and they sent me a new one.

I missed over half of the beta because of it....
