[QUOTE="davidtabor5"][QUOTE="philip6k"][QUOTE="gnomegnasher"][QUOTE="limpbizkit818"] "I think they've definitely taken some concepts that we originated like achievements, but I think they're pushing in a different direction and we've sort of fundamentally got two different approaches going on here," he said.
Can you read?
Danold
Apparently he is very selective about what he reads or what he understands from what he reads. I am getting so sick of fan boys. Its really getting out of hand....and what is REALLY sad (not what he claims is sad) is that they are the only ones that look stupid.
Which was the first console to have a hard drive? Thats right...the xbox.
Which was the first console to provide a unified online service and community? You guessed correctly again...the xbox.
Oh...and lets not forget about the who sixaxis thing...which after all turned out to be almost completely useless compared to the Wiimote....in my book, thats quite a bit more "sad" than what he is complaining about. But then again, he is being selective about what he decides to see isnt he??
So...who is copying who? Thats right it works both ways.............
Fan boys like him need to learn how to think things through before they open their mouths. All consoles borrow from each other. And its not stealing, its just borrowing. Seeing a good idea on the other side and making it better.Thatsjust part of the competition.Get over it. And if you really cant get over it, then what you really need is to get a life....
*sigh*
didnt ps2 have online first?....and actually sixaxis is amazing, i doubt youve even ever used it, it works so well with some of the newer games too since people are figuring it out, theres even a ps3 bowling game with it thats wayyyyyyyyyy better than the wiis bowling
You fail video game history class. The first console with online was the dreamcast peter moore was incharge of that then he went to xbox when it failed. he made xbox live witch was quickly followed by the playstation network (or whatever they call it) you just got schooledDamn, I didn't know dreamcast was online, shouldn't that have been pretty innovative? How did it fail if it started online gaming for consoles?
It had the potential for online gamming I dont think any games came out that utilized it's online functionality. I cant remember but didnt the Dream cast only last 2 years? My only experience with that console was playing it at a friends house so I may very well be wrong...... maybe maybe a phantasy star game was released on the dreamcast cant say for sure though.
As for home comming to 360? Sound neat, I wonder if it will be a gold only thing though. Hopefully silver members can get there hands on it.
