because the developers decided not to....

also, multiplayer achievements just make people boost. so much better when the gameplay itself is reason enough to play a game...which in this case is completely true.

I 2nd that, im an achievement whore, but I think not putting online achievements in games is a good idea!!

I also agree. Online MP achievements make for some bad situations sometimes. Ive been screamed at more times for killing someone, by my OWN teammate, because they were working on an achievement. Plus, my nephew and kids all have their own profiles on my 360 but none have a Gold account. Theyve just got really interested in achievements, and it sucks for them that they cant get alot of them. I love achievements, but keep them offline. As for CoD4, i think IW made all the achievements for the single player because they knew the MP would get all the attention and making the achievements single player only would guarantee that people played the short, but very fun campaign.

look at the guns you can earn and the challenges as achievements.SuperIntendent

thats true i guess there are achivments in the game but not achivments. I was just wondering if infinity ward put out a specific reason why they didnt want to put them in the gaem thats alldeathshand707
