I'm not sure if this is a dumb question or not but here goes. I've got a live gamertag and play alot online with a friend of mine as a guest. Ok my question is if my friend got a xbox live gamertag on my 360 would we both be able to log in and play ranked games that guests are not allowed to play?

Halo was the main game I was wondering about because of Team Swat, we went in half on getting the new maps just for Team Swat only to find that its ranked, no guests allowed.

Thanks for the answers guys, we were almost sure that it could be done but my friend didn't really feel like taking a change on losing $50.
