it depends on the game, but id say techno gets me in the mood for a game more than anythings else. it's like a hidden mesage in techno that urges me to do better
Whatever's on the soundtrack. I prefer to let the creators provide the music, if only to get a sense of their overall vision. Not that it's always better, but it does give a better sense of what they're going for.
Besides, there aren't many games out there that I think would suit the kind of music I listen to anyway.
I listen to Tech N9ne & Kottonmouth Kings when playing a racing game or Nine Inch Nails & Psyclon Nine sometimes during Gears. I grew up to Manson so it kind of grew on me through the years. This is a good topic, I've thought of posting this one up for months now.
Rust in Peace by Megadeth when I'm playing Oblivion and United Abominations (Megadeth) and Seasons in the Abyss (Slayer) when I'm playing Final Fantasy XIII.kingkilla3Oh btw Kingkilla could you tell me what Final Fantasy Xlll is like because I just can't seem to find it anywhere. :D
I see where you're coming from, and I usually like to have the original soundtrack too. However, most games don't have music while in multi-player, so it's great to put on an adrenelin pumping song whileshooting people :)Whatever's on the soundtrack. But if you're serious about multiplayer, wouldn't you want to avoid playing your own music, so you can more easily pick up on all of the audio cues? :)
