Must Have Games on X360?

Ok I've recently gotten my 360 two weeks ago and I've bought the following games for it: The Simpsons, Oblivion, Gears of War, Halo 3 and PGR 4.

Christmas is coming up and I'm thinking of more games to get and I'm wondering what are your Must Have Games on the 360 of all time? I've heard Mass Effect and CoD4 popping up every where as well as the occasional mention of BioShock ( Which I already have on PC ).

I would agree with all the above except assasins creed, it's a repetative game that isn't worth £40. The story isn't all that great and ends with a horrible cliffhanger, possibly worth a rent but certaining not a purchase.

Mass effect and COD 4. If you want to get some cheaper used games then get Vegas and GRAW 2

If you can find it for $30 at your local walmart Lost Planet 'cause though not a must ahve at that price there is no excuse not to give it a shot.

Mass Effect, Forza 2, Crackdown, and Eternal Sonata top my list to name a few. I have the other big names (Except AC) on PC already... I'll probably get AC soon.

(bc it's freakin Halo) you just have to finish the fight

(bc it has a story that no other game has ever had...One where you feel like you actually have to make decisions that will change the game

Grab Halo 2 and download Halo bc if you haven't played them Halo 3 will be have holes in the story

These ARE personal pref's of course...it's like telling someone what "must see" movies or CD's to get.

I own Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed and COD4. All have their good points, you guys know it all really. I am completely bored with them.

At least COD4 (like RS Vegas) you can go back to every now and then and have fun.

I am about to trade Mass Effect and AC but there is nothing to trade for really.

- DIRT is a must have if you like racing.

- Rainbow Six: Vegas is a must have if you like a tactical shooter.(CoD4 also)

- Orange Box Half Life 2 is a must have if you like the best linear style story shooter.

- BioShock is another top notch linear shooter.

Other than that...some others are OK, ...it's all in your taste.

I personally didn't like a lot of the hyped games like GoW and Dead Rising.

Assassins Creed was the biggest let-down to me. I should like it but it has nothing to draw you in. Tha assassinations are like set pieces, the premise is laughable. The graphics and animation are outstanding though. To me it's just a graphic/animation showcase. No real game there to me...where is the sandbox gameplay they hyped? All the people do nothing...did these guys even play Oblivion? Oh Yea! that was a cool game if you don't mind wandering around.

Oh well...wait another year.

I have lowered my expectations for Grand Theft Auto now. I had high hopes but everygame that comes out is just a last generation game with nice graphics (not all of them of course, but a lot).

Yeah i tried Ace combat 6. I personally loved it. I have not purchased it yet because I want to get the pack with the flight stick which means i am going to save for it rather then buyingon a whim.

....uuuuh actually, if you want a skateboarding game - it is absolutley a must have. Please dont tell me you would rather see this person waste money on a Tony Hawk game.........

Gears of War (still kicks ass)
Dead Rising (great fun w. zombies)
Assasins Creed (Im on the fence about this one)
MAss Effect (great RPG that does not require you surrendering your life)
Kameo (got it launch - still love to play it)
Lego Star Wars Original Trilogy (cause the girlfriend will want to play & its Star Wars)
Viva Pinata (cause its different & the girlfriend might want to play)

Sonic, chromehounds, bomberman, vampire rain, eragon, pimp my ride, monster madness and harry potter.....

try those out, but don't rent them you must buy them..... right now.... and don't play another game. Heck, will you even need to? Look at all that quality!
