ok alot of ppl say that MW2 was a really bad game i do not own this game but have played over at a friends house and honastly i dont see what is wrong with the graphics, if they were going for a realistic look like BFBC2 then they have totally failed. could u guys tell me what u guys think was ur biggest dissapointment in the game and what everyone hates about it. i for one do not like the story at all. also i just found out that theymight be making a MW3 (in addition to black ops) comments?

The multiplayer is as inferior to Call of Duty 4 as they could've done. Also, I don't blame Infinity Ward for that at all. You don't get the passionate development from a team if you're forced to make a game you don't want to make.

There is a mute button for a reason you know, also there is kids on all games. Also let's not turn hypocritical as I sure know when I was younger I'd be playing these games aswell.

I thought the single player was good, never great but a good story with a nice twist at the end. I think the biggest problem people are having is all the garbage that goes on in the multiplayer. People dont like the kids talking and acting stupid, the hackers, modders, cheaters, boosters, whatever you want to call them ruin alot of online play for a good many people.

Why should you HAVE to mute them instead of staying in the party?

You don't have to mute them, but if they are annoying you, it's common sense to do so. Just like if an adult was annoying you - rather than generalising all kids to be annoying and irritating.

No parties, redundant gameplay, campers, over-powered weapons, over-powered killstreaks, no destruction, short single player, no matchmaking for co-op.............. I can go on and on.

1. Too many ways to be cheap/poor weapon balance (death streaks, OMA + pro pipe, akimbo shotguns, too much air support/unfair killstreaks, etc.) 2. 600p resolution 3. Horrible community, probably the worst I've ever seen 4. Mediocre maps compared to CoD4 5. Callsigns are just plain dumb 6. Sub-par campaign, which falls short compared to CoD4 Basically this is CoD4 but worst in many ways, and with slightly better yet still sub-HD graphics. I do enjoy playing it though, I'm just really disappointed that this is supposed to be the follow up to CoD4.

Whats wrong with MW 2???

1. Killstreak rewards are simply too powerful! I simply can't tell you how lame I think it is that any idiot can use Hardline and get a Carepackage at 3 kills and randomly get a Chopper Gunner out of it and BAM, now he has 10 kills!! Imo, the Carepackage drop should contain nothing more powerfull than a Precision Airstrike or at the very most a Harrier Strike! It is ridiculous that you can get a Stealth Bomber, Pavelow or Chopper Gunner with 3 or 4 kills!!

2. The guns are lame!! They F'd up the MP5. The M4 is weaker than in CoD 4 and why in the world weren't the R700 and M40A1 Snipers put into the game??

3. The perk combinations are stupid and unrealistic. For instance, everyones most hated combo....Lightweight, Marathon and Commando. Lightweight and Marathon should have been in the same slot as a choice.

4. The Heartbeat Sensor is the biggest excuse to camp ever.

5. Why is it that Thermal cant see through walls or smoke!!

I can come up with all kinds of stuff as to why MW 2 blows!!

I'm not gonna rant about it, MW2 is a **** game. The points of the other people say it all.

Btw, the killstreaks aren't just overpowered, they're illogical too. Which army would waste nukes on 6 enemies? How would terrorists have access to anything more than an improvised old attack chopper?

The terrible maps and terrible respawns are why I stopped playing. I only like two maps and one of them are broken on domination.

MW2 is really an example of how NOT to make a Call of Duty game, and its really a shame, because there are so many things I absolutely love about it. The single-player campaign was short, but excellent, and certainly lived up to the Call of Duty name. Spec Ops was fun, extra DLC missions would add to it, but I doubt thats going to happen, and the multi-player, at its core, and this has recently been proved thanks to the BareBones gamemodes, is still pretty good. However, in what seems like a desperate ploy to 1-Up themselves, Infinity Ward added so much unneeded crap to the multi-player. The customizable killstreaks, the custom titles and emblems, the absolutely ridiculous perks such as one man army and commando; it just seems as if IW was just doing whatever they could to detract from the multi-player. It would have been better if they had actually made an attempt to balance out some of the obvious issues, such as tactical insertions and one man army nade launcher classes, but since the 1887 nerf, other than the two map packs, which they charged an extortionate 15 bucks a piece for, there has been virtually no changes to the game at all. I wish I could go back and play MW2, but when more than half of your deaths occur due to things completely out of your control (overpowered air support, consistently laggy gameplay, etc.) it is really hard to force yourself to play.

I love Call Of Duty and Modern Warfare 2. My only complaint is the glichers and the dull-ish maps. I personally prefer MW1's maps :). But it is still a great game!

I don't have any complaints with the gameplay. The only thing that annoys me is having to mute people (especially singing kids) that play MW2. The CoD series seems to attract ignorant people.

Really, if they just ripped out that idiotic heartbeat sensor and did something about the hacks it would be pretty much perfect.
