MW2 leak?!?!

So I was busting into some COD4 tonight in preparation for the MW2 launch next week, and I found someone on my friends list already playing MW2 online!! I messaged him and asked what the deal was, and he replied "lucky :)" I know it leaked on various torrent sites and what not, but what gives?? You think he'll get banned? I know I've heard people getting games a day or two early, but jeez......

I have three or four friends who are running the priated game, I've already filed complaints against them. Tons of people are playing the pirated version right now, it's most of the people on.

well **** me your a **** of a friend, as for the guy who said it sends info to MS when you sign back in thats only if you have a hard modded console a softmod console is able to play online and theres nothing agaisnt getting a legit copy early and the console isnt able to tell if your running the real thing or not


THIS is hilarious tho its meant to be the PC gamers who are pirates and they dont even have a release yet

Although ima guessing that since you require a PC to pirate a 360 game theyll still blame PC gamers for the piracy of there game

Developers need to learn most people pirate because A) there bored at the time and B) they will pirate sumthing to kill time that they were intrested in at some point but some alteration to the game has either reduced its value for money or implemented something that makes them feel like there being treated like a thief and god knows if im assumed guilty of sumthing before i do it i may as well do it(Spore)

He probably means plays it on an new Gamertag that doesn't have Xbox LIVE, so it can't send the info back to Microsoft. Also Infinity ward have already said on the day before release they are resetting all leaderboards and ranks so people that have already got it dont have an unfair advantage. Also IW said that playing MW2 online now is like sticking a red cross on your Profile, whether it be on PS3 or 360 so prepared to get banned people.

Wouldnt be surprised if the street date was broken because we arnt verry far from realese anyway.
