MW2 multiplayer is getting old!

I used to be obsessed about all the call of dutys but now i realize that it takes no effort or real skill all people do is run around with automatic guns killing each other

n these are all the things that really piss me off n that is why i gave up...

- kill cam : once u kill a guy he straight away knows where you are and comes back to kill you (you would be camping but still it is bs)

-uavs : almost everyone just walks around following their map just running towards enemys it takes no real skill

-prestige : honestly wat is the point you dont get anything but a little badge it just gets sad afta a while you should get like a gun or something

-almost unstoppable guns n weapons: we had the mp40 in cod 5 which was gay but even worsethey put inakimbo models and the tactical knife it is not very fair or realistic

- no local search : well 90% im in a bad connection game because the spend years making a game n then they dont even put in a local freakin search

if you like the game fair enough it probly ant my thing no more but all ima gnna say is that there are way betta games out there

As for everything else personaly I see nothing wrong with it. Some people like having the option to start over with no weapons because it gives some people something to do.

i do agree with you that local search should be an option (I believe it was an option in CoD WaW). Also Akimbo shotguns are the worst. I can deal with akimbo pistols or smgs. :P

Use cold-blooded, you don't show up on UAV. Also, try some different game modes since there are quite a few.

If they got rid of the commando perk and akimbo shotguns, the game would be perfect imo.

Infinity ward has to get rid of the stopping power perk its begginig to be unfair

Then stop playing it for awhile or sell it.

ive been playing on the PC and its boring there now also. IDK, i guess its back to TF2 and Gears for me.....

This is oh so very true. And once you get to lvl 67 and unlock 1887 w/akimbo you will become a god, no matter what weapons your enemies are using.

I have a special build around this weapon only which is a gomode on :D

Yeah it got pretty old fast. I knew it was going to happen to me as well. Moved onto the MAG beta and it isnt even that good... Just been bored with FPS's lately. At least in MAG i've had a better experience with team work.

Bayonetta should keep me busy until ME2 so ah well.

I agree it get's old fast. No real incentive to prestige so I made it to level 70 and quit. Trying to finish Dragon Age right now while I wait for ME2. I may pick up the new Army of Two. It's getting good reviews and I thought the first one was decent.

Unfotunately all games get old but you have to experiment with the different game modes and as for killcam's and uav's play hardcore. The 1887's were toned down in the recent updates and as for your other complaints...Gun's are getting stronger and when a game developer puts them in a game they have to be accurate and no one would play if it took a whole clip from a .50 cal or M240

Ya I am having much more fun with Left4Dead (scavenger mode and Versus are awesome).

Well what anoys me is this two shotgun thing, over powered, gets me ticketed off and screaming at times, :roll: shame full I know. but still its a great game online.

I had more fun playing it in 3rd person, wish they would make that into big team deathmatch instead of team tactical. It's a lot easier when you can look around corners for a camper. In fact, no one was camping in any of the 3rd person team tactical games I played.

But, yeah, this game is getting pretty old. I think if they took out some of the killstreaks (AC 130 and chopper gunner) and akimbo that the game would get better. The killstreaks are pretty stupid because they encourage camping. I say we should only be able to get the above killstreaks from a supply drop.

Stop playing it for a while and then come back or you could just sell it.

I don't really like MW2 at all, but I could tolerate it a bit more if party chat were instituted in all game types. I can't stand having to listen to people talk smack for no reason. I know I suck! :lol:

It's BEEN old, and I'm not surprised it didn't get old sooner. Take everything you've played in CoD4's multiplayer and upgrade it a bit, as well as add some new weapons and maps. Voila, you have MW2.The_Big_Reviews

They should get rid of stopping power and make people die faster. Stopping power is uncreative and it would be more fun if everyone had different perks not just always stopping power.

I thought they only made the fire rate worse. Im pretty sure they kept the range the same.

I'm still having fun in multi-player although I don't play it nearly as often as I thought I would. The most annoying thing for me isakimbo shotguns. I think they are worse than the noob tube.

I got bored after playing 10mins on my friends COD WAW

I do that, but I follow my skull symbol never use the kill cam:P besides, the only times this is of use to us, it's because of campers, so they can GTFO. So play hardcore

Shoot down the UAV, use Counter-UAV, use cold-blooded, play hardcore

then don't prestige

I agree with tactical knife and some of the akimbo, tactical knife is so damn annoying. Akimbo on some weapons seems necessary otherwise they're almost useless

Still loving Search and Destroy and Hardcore game modes.

This thread has been done before, go find a new game if it's making everyone so butthurt.

I was done playing this multiplayer after a couple days, and I played CoD4 for 120 hours :S It's just too much of the same to keep my attention.

outside of the terrible spawning and camping i like it alot.

Hence the name...modern warfare 2. what do you expect to be new about it? a whole new style and gameplay that no ones ever seen before?

I don't play cod mainly cause I just don't like it...and if you don't like it, don't play it. games get old if you play it too much anyways...i don't get the point of this rant.

They should get rid of stopping power and place it as some kind of attachment like FMJ for deep impact. MW2' s multiplayer does get old after a while, I only play with friends now and MW2' s multiplayer is still good though but disappointing. CoD4' s multiplayer was much better, and I regret trading it inalthough they should have been more creative with DLC.
