Hello everyone, I am a PC gamer and because of this I am going to have to wait another month until Resurgence comes out. Since I don't have MW2 for my Xbox 360 I haven't played any of the new maps and am curious what people that bought it think of it. Now I don't want this to turn into some "15 bucks is a rip-off!" type of thing because I have heard this and I am well aware that 3$ per map isn't the best deal. I just want to know what people that HAVE BOUGHT it think of each map, and please be descriptive. If this topic has been asked before somewhere else in this forum I apologise and I tried using the search thing but I didn't find anything like this.

I have only played a handful of games on the new maps but I like them so far. I did not see any obvious problems that ppl would exploit but who knows. At least this one is $15 for 5 new maps and when you think of it as $3 each I don't think that is too bad. I was going to wait until they released both for less but who knows if or when that would happen.

The newest map pack is actually a good one, with the first one being a disapointment, this one's actually a hit. The new maps are, Carnival, Fuel, and Trailerpark. The old ones are, Strike and Vacant. Strike and Vacant were the best and everyone loved them. So far 2/5, Carnival is a unique idea, witha funhouse, ferris wheel, rollercoasters, it's a GREAT map to have fun on. 3/5 so far. Trailerpark is your average map like Afghan but with a better vibe, and more obsticles. Fuel.. I'm not into THAT much, but to other players it's pretty good. I'd give the map pack a 4/5 ;)

I haven't played much of it, but from what I've experienced it's fairly good. Better than the first map pack, but still not worth the MSP its price tag bears.

Ok, I wasn't very fond of Stimulus (it was OK but its maps weren't all my type). I'm probably gonna get Resurgence but we will see in a month how much MW2 I am still playing. Carnival looks pretty awesome, Fuel looks....big, could be good for Domination?, and Trailer Park just looks cool as well (although full of campers and people using FMJ to shoot through the trailers).

Not sure what maps you are playing but they are not 5 new ones. Three are new and the 2 are just rereleased from COD 4. I want this map pack, but I am not buying in for 1200. Its not that I can't afford it, its just that this increasing price trend for DLC is getting out of hand, and frankly I don't see the value in this pack when you are paying for old maps.

True, only 3 are new (however the 2 CoD 4 maps are apparently one of the best according to a friend of mine that still plays CoD 4 where with Stimulus Overgrown was horrible IMO and Crash was pretty good). 15$ is the max I think any sane person would pay for this amount of maps, but even 15 bucks is pushing it. Either way, I will probably sucker over and end of buying the pack, but as I said previously we will see in a month if I do do that.

I thought all the maps were pretty good. Fuel is huge and you can easily go around the map and not find someone especially in SnD. Trailer Park is a small map. If you like the Spas as much as I do then Trailer Park will be easily one of your favorite maps. I've only played Carnival once on SnD so I don't have much to say about it.

Overall I have enjoyed Resurgence more than than the other map pack.

The three new maps are pretty good in my opinion. The improvments that were made to Strike and Vacant made these maps more likable to play through even though they are from the previous MW game. I havent seen to many problems with these maps so far but havent played any of them very much. I have ran into a few modders, boosters and cheaters as always but that is par for the course any more playing MW2.

Very impressed! Would highly recommend this map pack to everyone. The first one was a 6/10 I thought and that was mainly due to the fact I loved 'Crash' from CoD4. The latest map pack is an 8.5/10 easy. The maps are varied and in the case of Fuel huge!

At 1200ms points I felt a little cheated by the first map pack I must admit but Resurgence is worth every penny!!

In my opinion i think the second map pack is much better than the first one. I feel they actually took the time to add much detail to the maps, as opposed to the first map pack which looked like they couldn't fit into the game so they just waited a while and put them on a map pack. As far as people not liking the idea of having 2 old maps from COD4 i just have one thing to say: They took the best maps from COD4 and made them look BETTER. Like neogeta8 said : "At 1200ms points I felt a little cheated by the first map pack I must admit but Resurgence is worth every penny!!"

It's better than the Stimulus pack. Overgrown and Crash I absolutely hate (RAGE ARGHH!), but I enjoy all the maps I've played so far on the R pack. Vacant in particular I enjoy as I'm a fan of creeping around with a silenced SCAR-H and popping all the ninja-knife goons. Carnival is fairly fun but you'll often get shot and have no idea where you were hit from (until you see the kill cam). The only map I've not played is Fuel, but I've heard it's fun.

I guess new to me. I thought only the first map pack had rehashes. Still I find them fun but I have not played the one big one (Fuel I think it is called).

I appreciate the feedback. It sounds pretty funny, still maybe not worth 15 bucks but better than Stimulus from the sounds of it.

Haven't played either map pack, I would like them both because I love playing the MP, but I just won't pay the 1200 points per pack. I will wait to see if it comes down in price.
