MW2 vs BFBC2

I had always played MW2 and thought that it was the all time best game ever created... I was wrong, 3 days ago I bought the new Battlefield Bad Company 2..... It was super amazing!!! I love it and I think MW2 sucks compared to it! But everybody keeps on rippin on Bad Company sayin its not a fun game! What do you think!

I think if you prefer spending more time running around and slower paced gameplay then BFBC2 is for you. I prefer MW2 over it.

to be honest i traded in mw2 for battlefield bc 2

ive played all the battlefield games in the series (except 2142) so i knew what i wanted. but MW2 isn't bad either. its faster paced and more action packed. but i like bc2 because ive always been a fan of war games set in large environments.

Everybody was on the BFBC2 band wagon for like a couple months...sinec then everybody has gone back to MW2, LETS FACE IT. We all new that people would be playing MW2 a year after release BC2...well it had a great run.

BC2 for me, always.

It all depends on what kind of war game you like. Smaller maps with more fast-paced action or the other way around. Personally, I play and thoroughly enjoy both of them.

BC2 for sure way better and its noot that slow paced i mean when you have tanks and APCs coming in there really intense moments i love battlefield cant wait for Battlefield 3

BC2 is way more balanced than MW2, but I play more MW2. Lately I've been playing alot of BC2.

i didnt like bfbc2, but mw2 is fun...and Im starting to get good at it :P

BF:BC2 for sure, total newbie to the series. This game online has given me so many personal gaming highlights, also I have for the first time in almost 5 years of owning a 360 have a group of 7 friends that all play for fun but also gives us 2full squads. This is the first time I have properly worked as part of a team.

As for people saying this game is slow paced stop camping in the bushes with a sniper rifle and get in the fight. Or learn to shoot without CoD's auto aim.

Highlights include ( and bear in mind there MY highlights andthat some more skilled playershave done multiple times )

Entering the game online for the first time, seeing huge maps explosions, tanks, UAV, Helicopters ect ect a proper battlefield.

Sniping a helicopter pilot.

Racking up over 5000 points in one game as a medic ( TEAMWORK !!!!).

Getting a double headshot kill with one bullet.

Hitting a jeep with an RPG only for it to somersault head to tail over me in a ball of flamesfollowed by the message Triple Kill.

Getting a tank kill with an RPG from the entire width of the map taking gravity into consideration.

I could go on all night. Although a steep learning curve this game is so rewarding. If I want to run and gun I can play pretty much any FPS online. If I want fun Battlefield is where its at.

Infact I probably wont pick another CoD up for a long long time!

You didn't join in on these conversations when they both came out? Battlefield has always been the superior title.

They are two different worlds

MW2= CQB (thats Close Quarter Battles) and Battlefield is large open combat...

MW2 and BFBC2 are both great games, but i did prefer BFBC2 over MW2.

I've never played Call of Duty, and I've only played Battlefield games. I would love to play a Call of Duty game though, just to get a taste of the opposite spectrum.

I hate when people say they don't like Battlefield because it is "to slow" If you think it is to slow you haven't played it longer then 4 seconds. As big as it is, it can be CQC too.

^It IS balanced, but it is crazy they "nerfed" things so they were "like the other". For example, they made the Vehicle Reload Speed slower to be fair. . . If you take it you should of COURSE shoot faster.jad206

i play and enjoy both, but if i was forced to choose i would have to say that BF:BC2 is the better game, in my opinion

BF:BC 2 is a lot of fun but damn this is the new camping king COD stands no chance of ever beating it. I still prefer BF:BC 2 but damn are there a lot of snipers and kids hiding behind almost every corner possible.craigalan23
